Stopped to finally check out the place for a morning treat with the wife. Had heard lots of great things about the place and it didn’t disappoint. Great options at very reasonable prices… about half of what I hear people spending at Starbucks.
We are not much of coffee drinkers but tried the cherry chip frappe and a blueberry muffin. Both were tastey.

BEWARE! I just got a scone and a latte from here and there was glass in the scone!! I was actually chewing on a rather large shard of glass that was in the scone! I am never going back there. I have never been served food with glass in it before. Disgusting lack of quality control. This used to be my favorite place, but not anymore. I’ll go to Caribou just up the street from now on.

I would give this place more than 5 ⭐️ if I could. Absolute BEST coffee shop/cafe I’ve ever been to! The oatmeal cookie latte is DELICIOUS and the oatmeal cookie can’t be beat (sorry mom)! My husband and daughter both got the campfire cold brew which was also amazing. The chicken club sandwich was SO good- cheese was perfectly melted and the garlic mayo was perfect on it. There is plenty of free parking in the lot and they have a drive thru as well. We are from Neenah but we’re in town for my daughter’s testing and we will definitely drive the 1.5 hours again to come here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Atmosphere is warm and inviting and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Muffins are HUGE and deliciously moist. It was a great place to just sit and talk, as it wasn’t too busy and the other people that were there weren’t loud. Only complaint was the staff seeming a bit stoic. Hopefully just caught them on a bad day. Definitely want to come back to try more of the menu. Roof appears to have a seating area and would love to try that in the spring or fall!
Came a second time, and the Mac & Cheese was sold out before arrival and breakfast was done, so I had the Butterscotch Scones and they are to die for! Soft with most of the butterscotch chips still in one piece! Had the Eggnog Latté, which complimented the scones wonderfully. Cute cozy cafe! Excellent food choices and novelty coffee drinks. Self serve water provided in cute mason jars. Bench and table seating. Lounge area with fireplace. WiFi available to do work and enjoy the cafe. Small area show casing products for purchase. Would definitely return!

Theresa and her team consistently deliver on quality, both fare and experience. Service is on par with a non-chain outfit — expect a small wait for a hot sandwich item because it’s made to order every time. Whether you’re popping by the drive thru for morning coffee or ordering at the counter for a sit-down bite, you’ll always be greeted with a smile. The waffles are some of the best in town, and the soups and sandwiches aren’t to be overlooked either. There’s a reason Out of the Box established itself as a staple in Rapids shortly after they opened.

Not only are there unique flavors and drinks here but the actual flavor of their espresso roast is top notch! I had their pistachio muffin and it was simply divine. Great atmosphere and friendly staff! I’m new to the area and this for sure will be my new spot!! All around fabulous!

If someone has something bad to say about Out of the Box Coffee, well, it must have been an off day for the individual or this cafe, simply because I cannot give it anything lower than a 5. When I post a review, I usually tend to post a 3 or 4, but when everything from the service, to the quality of food and beverage to the ambiance is 5, I really don’t have any suggestions on improving this coffee shop!
I’m always on the prowl for the best cold brew coffee in town when I’m some place new. I don’t know if Out of the Box has any competitors, and I probably won’t take the time to find out. That’s how good this place was!
We were in town for 24 hours, and the hosts of our AirBnB suggested this fine location for lunch. It was so good that we had to stop by on our way out of town as well!
Everything here was 5 star, especially the staff. They were all great, accommodating, polite, professional and fun to chat with; they even somehow even determined that we were pilots…I don’t think it was our uniform 😉
I had the smoked salmon blt – I would eat this sammich night and day, breakfast lunch and dinner if I could. And maybe substitute the bread for some greens on occasion to cut back on those pesky carbs! Day one, I carbed up and went with their mac n cheese which was perfectly creamy, perfectly cheesy, perfectly Wisconsin! My coworker enjoyed the same sammich alongside a cup of mushroom brie soup I believe it was, and he was beyond content.
Day two, I had asked for a smoked salmon salad, and got the sandwich, but I didn’t complain b/c it is THAT good! I also had a half bowl of chicken rice soup to go with. Delish!
We also got some desserts this time around – the apple turnover, and some cookies. All were a great way to finish the day.
Then the beverages. The blackberry lemon iced tea was fantastic (I suggest one pump of syrup so it’s not too sweet, you see I’m sweet enough)! And the next day I asked if they could substitute cold brew coffee for the iced tea and boom – a new drink was created – The Summer Night Skies!
If you get a chance, you really must stop by and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner and a beverage of choice! I hope to one day be back and wish this cafe and its staff all the best!!

The setting is so fun! The atmosphere is contemporary and trendy. Nice decor and great outdoor seating.
The food was so good! Smoked salmon BLT is a must-have … time and time again! Also the chicken, avocado bacon sandwich was amazing. Prob any sandwich item on the menu would be a tasty treat.
Had the peanut butter banana frappe. It was ok. Didn’t seem like a very strong peanut butter flavor. The tropical smoothie tasted more like mango than anything else. Not bad, just wondered if they might have mistakenly given us mango?
Went to sit outside bur the table and ground around it and the chairs was full of someone’s muffin or scone crumbs, so we opted for indoor seating. We didn’t tell the staff because it was busy. Even though it was 1:30pm. The indoor seating wasn’t full so people must have just been grabbing and going.
We’d definitely visit again. This place is a gem!

First … food was excellent (enjoyed variety of breakfast sandwiches)! Improvement in communication needed at time of order. Were not informed that drinks had to be picked up at end of counter rather than delivered with food. Food delivered (no identification of which sandwiches were what … all looked the same … had to take up to counter and ask). Waited over 10 minutes for coffee drinks b4 getting up and asking and finding out sitting at end of counter. Very noisy bc constant slamming on coffee counter by employee. Hard to share conversation.
