ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE !! I wasn’t going to even bother to make a review, but I was rudely hung up on BY THE MANAGER and told “we’re too busy to deal with this, call back tomorrow” my card was charged 2 times for the SAME order, that cost $36 dollars, that’s $72 for ONE order. Not to mention this “country steak” I ordered isn’t what country steak even is & to add to that the meat looked RAW. I’m not one to ever complain but this is unacceptable please do better by the costumers that PAY money to eat your food.

Great clean place. The place was half full with only one noticable waitress, she did such a great job!
We both had the fish sandwich special, better price and quality than McD’s. The fish filled the bun and hung over both ends, good textre and flavor. Under $20 for both of us including drinks. A true smsll town gem!

Tried first time today and never again. I got the Southern Style Steak and my wife tried the crab cakes. The gravy with the steak and mashed potatoes was terrible. It was lumpy, bland, and had a strange taste, and I could not eat it, so I wound up eating one of my wife’s crab cakes. Mentioned the issue to the waitress, who did nothing. Waitress never came by after serving us to see if there were any issues. Will not be going back.

We were visiting from out of town and found this place by accident it ended up a horrible accident. We ordered chicken livers and were told they could not serve them because they were too big to cook properly…in Tennessee we have these things called knives…they cut stuff into smaller pieces. Tea was weak, hushpuppies were cold cold cold, chicken was tough, curly fries were ok, meatloaf was salty they must have dropped the whole salt box in there because nothing else had any salt at all, country fried steak should have been dumped out to the hogs they might have ate it the only good thing was they had texas Pete hot sauce which was the only saving grace that allowed us to get some of the food down. Will not return unless it’s to gift them with a set of knives.

Ordered the shrimp plate and recieved a plate with a plastic fork already inside? NONE of the other plates had forks and it looked already half eaten too compared to the other shrimp plate they freshly made because they forgot one along with forgetting any of our sour cream and butter for the baked potatos. Absolutely disgusting to think I could’ve ate off someone’s nasty fork.

I am very pleased with the experience I have had at this family restaurant! I’ve been several times dine and take out! I can’t think of one thing I didn’t enjoy the staff the cook are all accommodating and wonderful personalities! I will be coming back! The corn nuggets are the BOMB I think for that kind of service and food I tip both waitresses and the cook! Thank you for your hospitality

Didn’t have chicken. The cube steak was very bland. Oh the biscuits where unbelievable. Just try them and you’ll know what I mean. I’m sorry but they need help before they lose all there business. When you cut corners you cut quality. Price hasn’t moved.
