Was part of a large order and the two lads there killed it. Accurate execution, labelled correctly and done quickly so the crew can fuel. Group got varying items, from the soup, cubans, and what I got, the Insane Italian. Perfectly toasted, packed with flavor, everything worked well for it. General consensus is everyone enjoyed their food! If in the area or thinking about what’s for lunch, I highly recommend Gastrosubs!

So I’ve eaten at this place about 5 times now, and all five times it’s been great. The subs are on point, I recommend the insane Italian, it’s the best one to Me, but to each is their own. The services is always great and it’s your typical sub place, but with fresh ingredients and real mozzarella cheese, Zaps chips and just a place you should check out and support local small businesses.

This was an easy to find location with plenty of parking and plenty of seating. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak which really was nothing like any Philly cheesesteak I had had before, the meat was oddly dry. It wasn’t like shaved steak it was almost like a chuck roast that had been chopped up. Can’t say that I loved it.
We also ordered an italian. It was a really good Italian; however, it said it came with some kind of sauce, it might have been pub sauce or something, but it was sweet. I’ve never had an Italian with any sort of sweet sauce on it so that was different. Didn’t love that either, not on an Italian, but the Italian itself was really good. I’m kind of surprised by the really high rating. I wasn’t that impressed by the food but the young workers (maybe siblings) were great at their job and adorable so maybe that’s how this place has 4.8 stars.
The prices are also decent.

Just stopped in the first time on an empty stomach for lunch. Small sandwich shop in Ponte Vedra Florida. Service from the gentlemen, food (recommended the Insane Italian) and atmosphere are all a plus. I will be back w/ family & friends especially on a beach day. Thanks!

We have gone back to this place couple of times and their menus been updated. You have options for 8inch or 12 inch sub or double down meat. Our new favorite is The Super Hero sub toasted, extra sauce on the side and for hot subs are the Meatball sub and Spicy Philly Cheesesteak, both toasted. Meatball sub is packed neatly and you get the meatball every bite. Surprisingly the spicy Philly cheesesteak dipped in their Tomato Bisque soup is one of the best paired sub we’ve had. I definitely recommend their tomato bisque soup, perfect for the cold weather and it is way better than the known bread place. Overall, still worth the drive and the highlight every time we visit this side of town.

French dip is my favorite, the dip has good flavor, i could even finish it by itself. All freshly made, we ordered every sub toasted! Highly recommend to try the s’mores club, perfect creamy flavor of sweet and salty. They have varieties of chips and drinks(bottled/fountain). Hands down to their amazing service, very welcoming and they made sure we enjoyed every food we got. Also, very neat place to dine in at. Definitely worth the drive for a sub!

The Philly Cheesesteak, the Jacksonville and side of Au Jus were all excellent. Bread was like a cloud absorbing all the juices and sauces!!! Can’t wait to try the cuban, French dip & spicy Philly Cheese Steak.

Wow I was super impressed with my sub! I got the Jacksonville (without ham). The sauce, the toppings, the meat and the service were all A+. Great local sandwich spot – highly recommend esp. right before hitting Mickler’s beach!

Gave this place a shot on a rainy day, great food and the service was quick. I tried the chicken tender sub and my friend she had the BLT. The sandwiches were fast and tasty. Perfect spot if you’re just out and about on the go and need a bite. Prices were pretty fair too.
