I have came here almost every week for two years and have never had a bad experience. Where do I start? Amazing service, great food, quiet area and good employees. My family and I are usually the only ones inside, but that’s exactly what we like about it. We mostly have the same three servers every time. They are always super nice and patient. Now the food….. it is the best Mexican food I have had. The queso, the tamales, the enchiladas are everything to die for! They have never ever messed up one of my orders which is rare for a restaurant.
I simply cannot say anything bad about them because they have always been the best. Best Mexican food in town.

We ordered street tacos and gorditas. They were both absolutely delicious. Their hot sauce is very flavorful and delicious, too! The wait staff are all incredibly attentive and friendly. Service was quick and efficient.

Ordered delivery, food arrived hot but the food did not have much flavor at all. We ordered the street tacos, large queso and the verde enchiladas and it was all pretty bland. The queso was really runny and not much flavor like a watered down Velveeta taste, I usually like my queso thinner but with flavor. Charro beans were also bland. If you are someone who doesn’t like flavor or salt this will fit your taste, but I like flavorful food.,

This is a hidden gem just a short drive out 105 west that you must try!
Everyone in my group raved over the delicious food we enjoyed.
The serving sizes can’t be beat anywhere around and the margaritas will give you an instant buzz! Impeccable service as well. We arrived before the dinner rush hit with the bar pretty busy and a few tables in the dining room taken, but by the time we left the place was filling up fast. Treat yourself and give this place a try.

Being brought up in a family of foodies and authentic Mexican food, first generation and extensive and often disappointing search for authentic Mexican flavors here in the north, I am delighted to have found Mr. Taco — a rare and exceptional find . We started with margaritas which was a top notch and their queso and salsa, both of which were outstanding: the queso was luxuriously creamy with just the right amount of spice.

For my main course, I chose two beloved favorites: the fajita torta and the gorditas. I loved the food, the drinks and the service was GREAT! I wish this place had a better location so I could sit outside and enjoy all the good food and drinks while viewing the lake.

I’ve only been to Mr. Taco twice now, but both times the food was great. On my first few visits somewhere new, I typically get a dinner plate to try a variety of things. Tonight I had a crispy taco, cheese enchiladas, & a queso cup. I love their warm red salsa, & the chips are so addicting! Highly recommend the frozen peach margaritas The service was top-notch.
