First time at this place and I was not dissapointed!
Virgina took our order and she was very friendly, patient and helpful in recomending some options.
Our food was served fast and it was very delicious. The portions are a little on the smaller side but wife and I were overall very satisfied. The crew behind the counter preparing the food were very friendly and seemed like they enjoyed working there, you could hear them communicating the orders and having fun while working!!
Prices are affordable.
Will be coming back for sure.

I have had the flu for the past week. Today was the first day I could get up and do anything. I went to Panera to get soup, and got treated terribly by the drive through worker. She rolled her eyes at me several times and even gave me the wrong side for my soup. Not impressed. This also isn’t the worst experience I have had at this specific Panera.

I really like the food at Panera Bread. I think they have very unique flavors and the food is consistently good if not great. The bread and pastries are also very very tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and ordering is easy. The drive through is also great for quick visits. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
The reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 5 is two fold. The first reason is the price of most items on the menu. The second is the amount of food you get. Both of these reasons are relative to the other. If they gave more food, I wouldn’t much care that they are more expensive but I consistently leave hungry. I wish that wasn’t the case because of the many reasons I listed in the first part of my review. But because of this, it makes it difficult for me to suggest or recommend going to Panera. Hopefully this is something they address since it’s been an issue for quite some time. Otherwise, it is a good/great place to eat.
On a side note, if you are on a diet this place might be perfect for you!

I ordered a full Strawberry poppyseed salad with chicken. I asked to have the chicken on the side so I could reheat it when I got home later. After waiting for 20 minutes for my order, this is what I found in my bag when I got home. The second picture is how they advertise the salad. Huge disappointment for $12 …. and they forgot the chicken. I won’t be back.

The Panera Bread in Fort Gratiot is so clean and the staff are terrific!! Very friendly and willing to get you something if you need it. The food is SO fresh and made while you’re sitting down at one of their tables. I highly recommend them!!

Ordered the chicken wild rice soup today. I have had it several times and always delicious. Today, it was very watered down. Little flavor. Very dissatisfied.
If this happens again, I will be finding a new place to eat. This is the one in Fort Gratiot.

I was very unhappy with my visit. I ordered a Cesar salad with chicken. What I got was a bowl of croutons which I picked out and what I show in the pictures.
For almost $10 I got basically some sliced chicken and very little romaine.
Panera Bread use to be known for generous portions and decent prices. Now everything is over priced and so portion controlled that you get no value for your money. Sure the food is decent but how can you justify charging much for so little? I would advise going to a decent restaurant and not this “fast food” version of one.
