We are from out of town, but we look forward to stopping here each time we’re in the area. We love the atmosphere, it gives a romantic classy vibe (unusual for the area). The food has been consistently good each visit. We enjoy the pizza a lot- we do wish they offered beef as a pizza topping, they have only pork options and chicken. The bread is very good and soft. The Alfredo also is good. We look forward to trying other pasta dishes in the future. Tiramisu is a must!

Likely had not been here for seven years or so. Nostalgia can sometimes bite you where it hurts. I’m happy to say this trip down memory lane was pleasant with yummy food and a celebratory experience. Three different parties had a guest with a birthday. Each of those were met with staff singing accompanied by the piano. The elderly couple seated next to us were treated with deference. The waitress doted on them going as far to cut their steak for them. What’s changed in seven years? I suppose the prices are higher (but they are everywhere). I don’t recall a sign for narcan in the bathroom which is a sad reality. I’m glad they want to save lives.

We went out for a Friday night fish fry last night and decided to try Cannova’s because we have always had good food and enjoy the atmosphere, we often dine out 3 or 4 nights per week and often drive a ways to try different establishments. Our choice last night will never be repeated or forgotten!
A fine Italian restaurant with such a great history should be absolutely ashamed of serving such a terrible meal!
The fish fry consisted of two pieces of breaded fish sticks very similar to what I was fed for lunch at the Catholic school during lent cafeteria style served on top of a handful of crinkle cut fries and a side of coleslaw from Walmart. The absolute worst dining experience we have ever had. When I asked for a side of ketchup for the fries the Waitress brought a empty dirty bottle with crusted dry ketchup on the top of the bottle and said it was the only one available, I immediately asked her to remove it. We never asked a price for the fish fry, our mistake because when the bill was presented the price was $19 per order and $4 for a glass of Pepsi, $57 total for a meal that was just terrible. My advice is to stay with what they do very well
Italian cuisine and never serve a Friday fish fry again.

Amazing pasta and a lovely atmosphere! The staff is friendly, and some nights there’s live piano music, which adds a special touch. The food is always delicious. Highly recommend!

We love going to Cannova’s.
The food is good, especially for this area. It is tasty! The positive is that so much of the menu is clearly made from scratch and in-house. The challenge is this sometimes means inconsistent flavors from visit to visit. Still, the offerings are diverse and everything has been good!
The service is generally friendly and the servers are consistently the same people, which is a good sign. Sometimes there are boss-employee conversations happening awkwardly within ear shot of customers.
The atmosphere is what really makes Cannova’s shine. It is cozy and the live music makes for a uniquely enjoyable dinner experience. Cannova’s is great for a date, a family dinner, or a dinner gathering with friends.
We highly recommend Cannova’s.

Rude manager or owner. Went there on a Monday or Tuesday evening because the lights were on inside and there was a piano player in there. So I go to the front entrance, it’s full of people, I try to open the door, it’s locked, she looks over and sees me and gives me a look as if she was disgusted… she opens the door and rudely asks “Can I help you?”
I say, “oh, I’m sorry, I thought this was a restaurant”… she rudely explains that they are rehearsing for some sort of play or something and that they were closed…. Then she refers that I try the pizza place next door, which has horrible reviews and was also closed. Not a good experience for an out of town worker that just spent 11 hours working in the snow. I will always choose the businesses that greet customers with a smile instead of a scowl and rotten attitude.

5+ stars! A real Italian restaurant! Been owned by the same family since 1926. Great service, fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere. This restaurant rivals any Italian restaurant in the country. Pizzas are fantastic! Everything is home made of course and they are also known for their Sicilian Filet. You can’t go wrong here. A lot of the employees ate family and a lot of the non family employees have been here for years and years. Our waitress has 26 years of service! Cannot say enough good about this restaurant. If you are in town for 1 meal make sure you go here!

The food was delicious, wine tasted mixed (weak) I never saw the bottle she brought the half glass to the table (real wine?) I didn’t drink it, I told her about it, she ignored and still charged me for it, she mentioned specials of the day … prices were higher than in the menu.
