Today 2/28/25 at approximately 12:42 pm, I walked in the store and the short Asian lady was standing over the stove and the stove was really nasty with crusted food from other orders on it. I was nice to her and politely asked if she could clean it because it looks nasty and she said yes and then proceeded with a non-excuse that she had just got to the stove. I paid for my order and tipped, I ordered a chicken chipotle cheesesteak on white bread with lettuce. When she handed me my order it was on wheat bread, chicks of chicken super big and bread was broken like it was not fresh and had tomatos on it. She can’t be trusted to make orders without retaliating on the customers.

UPDATE: I called the store and spoke with George, but now that I look at my receipt I see it’s English for A different pronunciation. But he apologized about it, informed me it was her first day on the grill and offered me a free sandwich card. Because I was not able to get back up to the store today for my refund. I spent $23.33 for a giant sandwich and chips and only ate half of the half. Time and money I can’t get back. She was not properly trained to be at the stove and her hair is in her face the whole time which is against the Serv-safe requirements. #unsanitarycook #incompetentcook

Completely ignored inside. No other customers were there. 4 or 5 employees avoiding eye contact or greeting. We waited and waited for someone to lift up there heads and say something. They had a large order apparently but no excuse. Finally someone muttered something- barely heard. And kept working. We finally asked, are we gonna have to wait for the large mobile order – the guy/girl muttered without eye contact – yes. Extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. Tue Dec 9th at 11:05 a.m. we left and headed to Jimmy johns down the street.

Jersey Mike’s locations offer gluten-free bread and training to their employees for building a sandwich that won’t make someone sick who is good sensitive. The first time I ever ordered gluten-free sandwich at this location it was picked up by someone else and I got very very sick because the staff did not take proper handling precautions and cross-contaminated the sandwich with bread crumbs. Now, two years later I have gone by there twice to see if they could do any better. I ordered my kids, who are not gluten sensitive, regular sub sandwiches and myself a gluten free sandwich. The staff made the normal sandwiches and then plopped my gluten-free bread right on the crumbs of the previous sandwiches and used the same knife from the same condiments full of crumbs. This is counter to the training that I know they have received because the other location on Peters Creek has no problem doing it right. If you have you ever had a stomach flu for 3 days, that is what many of us go through with celiac disease. This is why it is vitally important if you have a gluten-free offering that you don’t do a halfway job.

This was my 3rd time I tried this location. First 2 were terrible but I thought it was because they were new. This time I ordered my sub “toasted” which they didn’t do. Quality was terrible. I just moved from N.J. and the quality is no where near what I’m use to. If i was corporate, I would shut this branch down. I’ll never go back.

Worker eating lunch comes back and instantly grabs the gloves without washing his hands. when I asked him to wash his hands all of the workers thought that was a funny request.

Spent 10+ dollars on their regular sized sub. (No drink, no side). I spent more time waiting on my sub than eating. I had to go buy more food somewhere else because I was still hungry. Customer service could’ve been better too. Not a single smile 🙁

I did an online order for delivery and gave a good rating until I noticed they gave me a white bread topping and the bottom was parmesan. Beware when you order online for delivery.

Initially only had wheat bread. Was ok with that. Poor communication once parts of order was done. Made 3 of my 4 sandwiches. Then moved on to other cold sandwich orders despite not completing mine. My last sandwich was a hot sandwich order so no biggie, they take a little longer, but then they ran out of bread. Waited longer so that the bread they had baking could finish. Then they put through about 5 more sandwiches before someone acknowledged me so that I could ask about my sandwich. No apology and huge lack of communication between the workers and with customers.
