The Blind Pig is the definition of a hidden gem. It’s easy to overlook, tucked beneath a clothing store on the Square, but once you step inside, you’re greeted with a great speakeasy-style atmosphere that feels intentional rather than grimy.

There’s plenty of seating for groups of all sizes, pool tables for hanging out, and an overall vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The food is excellent—especially the Reuben. Honestly, I don’t think there’s a better Reuben in the tristate area.

Their beer selection is also solid, with a wide variety on tap and bottled options, so no matter your taste, you’ll likely find something you enjoy.

If you’re looking for a bar/restaurant that delivers a speakeasy feel without the typical dirty-bar aesthetic, The Blind Pig is absolutely the place to be.

The Blind Pig is hands down one of Oxford’s best-kept secrets! Tucked away just off the Square, it’s got that perfect speakeasy vibe—chill, unpretentious, and full of character. The beer selection is top-notch, with great local and regional options, and the food? Surprisingly awesome. Their reuben hit the spot, especially if you’re hanging out for a while. The bartenders are cool, the music is always on point, and it’s the kind of place where you can actually have a conversation or just vibe solo. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Blind Pig is a must-visit.

Cool little spot with two pool tables good cold beer and great food. The fried pig skins were amazing and the french dip was also really good.

Good location when walking through downtown Oxford. Plenty of potential too as tucked away downstairs.

However, this place is due for a serious deep cleaning and refresh. Felt as if I was disturbing staff.

Every draft beer I ordered was not available. I understand product shortages due to COVID, but the options were listed on a chalkboard that could easily be erased. I opted for a mainstream can of beer.

Intriguing selection of food and sandwiches but wasn’t cheap ($14). When meal came it was very tiny in length and definitely didn’t compensate with extra ingredients as was flat too.

I’m sure this place is fun during college football games, but for price commanded would expect more attention.

Not my style and will opt for another watering hole next trip to Oxford.

I have been to The Blind Pig several times now. The patrons and staff are southern friendly and the food is great. I come in specifically to shoot pool and meet like-minded people. I was really impressed seeing the new felt on the pool tables. Being an older Vietnam vet, I find it sometimes hard to fit in but everyone there made me feel at home. Now if we can just pool together a team or two to play in a league, that would make my life complete. Thanks . See you there.

THIS is definitely a restaurant that all others restaurants should take notes! First, the staff were knowledgeable about their menu AND the beer. Can’t tell you how many times I ask about IPA and get deer in headlights look. And they give you beer SAMPLES?!?! Who does that?
2nd, the food came out FAST! Disclaimer – you put your order in as you arrive then seat yourself so I am sure that cuts in to the wait time. 3rd the food was amazing. Home made kettle chips, a Reuben that has pastrami AND corned beef on it, and the burger was fantastic!! If in the area again would definitely put on itinerary! You won’t regret it

Typical Bar/Grill atmosphere, TVs , normal noise level for a Bar, etc… Food was great. Pig Skins App, Large French Dip Sandwich and fresh house made chips.

Not only is the food delicious every single time and the atmosphere my favorite, but their menu is expansive. We take my vegan family members here and they appreciate having a selection of veggie items. You wouldn’t expect a downstairs, bar- type restaurant to have such great salads, but I would say they are the best in Oxford! You can’t go wrong with their sandwiches either. We just love this place!
