I wonder if locals know about this place since it’s in a hotel. Mostly seafood and some steaks. Extensive menu and well plated for appearance. Appropriately priced to reflect quality and presentation. Fun place to watch sporting too. Try it!

We are here late last night my family of 5, my 2 boys shared a child’s plate and my 3rd son had his own child’s plate my husbands plate was pricey which we new before ordering and I got a $10 tostada plus drinks and a to-go dessert I was expecting to pay $81 but when we got he bill it was around $97 we did get a $10 discount for being hotel guests but I was still thrown off by the $16 difference. We were being charged for each refill without being told. If I’d know I would’ve turned them all down or got water.

Over all the food was awesome but everything’s already super expensive so I’d like to know ahead of time if I’m being charged for for tea or soda.

Waitress was nice but not very informative and if you only know English there’s definitely gonna be a language barrier. Would I come back yes but with a smaller “party” and more prepared

We recently dined at Ochochenta and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

When we first arrived, we were seated in a friendly manner, but shortly after, the atmosphere changed. Several servers appeared to be staring at us in an uncomfortable way, which made us feel unwelcome.

Our food took quite a while to arrive. When it did, my wife received a fish dish that had a very strong and unpleasant smell. She did not taste or eat the food at all. She politely and respectfully explained that she was uncomfortable with the smell and appearance of the dish and asked if it could be sent back. She was calm and courteous throughout the interaction.

Instead of simply accommodating the request, a server approached her in a confrontational manner, repeatedly questioning what was “wrong” with the dish and implying that there was nothing wrong with it. The interaction felt unnecessary and dismissive. The server then walked away abruptly.

We were then informed that we would still be charged for the dish, even though it was not eaten or touched. We were told we could take it to go, which made no sense, as my wife had already made it clear she did not want the food.

A manager (or possibly the owner) later came to our table and stated that “the house never loses” and that they do not take plates off the bill unless there is something clearly wrong, such as a hair in the food. He also explained that servers are charged for returned plates and may take the food home. While we understand that every restaurant has its own policies, this was communicated in a rude and unprofessional manner.

It is reasonable for a guest to decline a dish they are uncomfortable eating, especially when it has not been touched. Being charged for food that was never eaten, combined with the dismissive and confrontational attitude from staff and management, left us feeling disrespected.

We value good service and understanding, especially when guests are polite and reasonable. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that expectation.

I was told about this place by my coworker. I decided to come tonight and I’m so glad I did. I’ve never had agua Chile de ribeye but that’s what was recommended so I went for it and I’m sure glad I did, that plate was very delicious and probably the best dish I’ve had in either Midland or Odessa. I really liked the way this place is set up, it has a regular restaurant to the left and the bar area to the right. They also have a patio which has two big screens to watch sporting events. They have Pay-Per-view sporting events boxing or UFC fights. The waitress told me. The bar area has plenty of TVs and the restaurant I was told does as well. Before I left, I heard live music playing in the restaurant, I don’t know which days they have live bands since I went on a Thursday. I bet this place is really good to hit up on a Friday or Saturday night. Give this place a try and I bet you’re going to like it just as I did.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the Permian Basin. If you want authentic tasting Mexican food , this is the place to go. Not only has every dish and drink I have had delicious but the atmosphere is great as well. Good lively music and great service .

Try a michelada, agua chile (verde is my fav), and tacos . Our favorite waitress is Sarahi!

Our go to place for birthdays, ladies night or happy hour !

We went right when they opened, so it was empty. We sat at the bar. Bartender was nice. Got our food fast. My husband is picky with his aguachiles, but said these were very good and would come back again. Shrimp tacos were delicious

For Father’s Day, our adopted son took us out to eat after church. We enjoyed our delicious dinner and drinks. I highly recommend this place. They even make you very own salsa at your table if you ask for spicy. We definitely will come back cz the bone marrow was delicious.
