The atmosphere here is great…welcoming and warm and the smell is awesome. The staff were amazing and helpful.
Lamb Vindaloo is my typical go-to, which is what my wife chose, but I decided to try the Chicken 65 Biryani, along with Naan. We finished our meal with Rasmalai, which was perfect to round out the meal.
The flavor and portion sizes blew us away. This is simply the best food we’ve had in years
We’re likely to stop at J&Js every time we pass through from this point forward. To the owners and staff: Thank you for an amazing experience and for taking such good care of us!!
There were five of us, and as soon as we walked in, the owner warmly welcomed us, seated us right away, and brought us water. The interior décor is minimal yet gorgeous, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. Bollywood music was playing on the TV, which really lifted the mood. The place smelled amazing, and even the bathroom was spotless—always a great sign.
We ordered chicken tikka masala, masala dosa, chicken 65, and paneer makhani with garlic naan. The portion sizes were huge, and everything tasted absolutely delicious. I especially loved the mango lassi—it was refreshing and perfectly made.
Sometimes when you’re searching for coal, you end up finding gold—this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend trying their food; you won’t be disappointed. If I ever pass through this area again, I’ll definitely stop by. Excellent food, wonderful host, and a great restaurant overall.
TUESDAY BUFFET IS 5PM – 830PM don’t meet me there BEAT ME THERE
When I first sat down, the very nice owner greeted me with a bottle of water and the menus. One would have thought that a bottle of water brought to you when you sat down would have been complimentary, like I’ve had a few times at other restaurants. I was very surprised to see a charge of $1.99 for the bottle on my bill. I did question this and he was quick to remove the change, which makes me feel like this might be a complaint that he has heard in the past.
For his success, I hope that he discontinues doing this.
I’ll be back for sure.
The Pompano Fish Fry was another standout—crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside, with seasoning that really hit the mark. You can tell everything was made fresh with a lot of care.
The staff was warm and attentive, and the overall vibe made the meal even more enjoyable. Definitely one of the best spots for authentic and satisfying Indian food. I’ll be coming back soon to try more dishes!
The food was absolutely delicious, a true explosion of flavors in every bite. We enjoyed medium-spice curry with their famous naan, a soft and freshly baked leavened bread, along with Jeera Rice, chicken, house curry chicken each served with a generous portion of rice and creamy curry shrimp, which was a real delight. Everything was carefully prepared and beautifully presented.
The service from Mr. Sabi was excellent. He was very kind and gave wonderful recommendations.
We highly recommend this exquisite cuisine and restaurant. We give it a 10 out of 10! We will definitely be back.
The service was just as good. Staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out fresh and hot. You can tell they really care about their customers.
And the owner is amazing super welcoming and genuinely appreciative. That kind of hospitality makes a huge difference.
If you’re in the south carolina area and craving authentic Indian food, this spot is a must. I’ll definitely be back.
