Reviews
Spent time there with my friends for lunch. We were carried away by the great combination in each dish, and the personalised, attentive service by Khun Pepsi & Khun Bright.
The restaurant was spacious and gave a touch of privacy , the riverview was relaxing.
High worth for money.
Every dish was well balanced, and even the bread was excellent.
Great food, lovely atmosphere, and attentive service.
A perfect dinner experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
One of my friends’ all-time favorite places for special occasions like birthdays and celebrations.
Be sure to prepare your stomach — it’s a long supper! The bread and butter were absolutely amazing. Throughout the course, we had quite a few standout dishes. For us, the main course was hard to finish simply because the overall portions were quite generous. Still, we managed to enjoy the dessert and even took the petite fours home.
The service, as expected from a Michelin 2-star restaurant in the Capella Hotel, was excellent. What stood out even more was their attention to detail — they noticed I’m left-handed and adjusted the setup accordingly. That’s next-level.
We weren’t in the mood for alcohol, so they paired tea with each course — a unique and thoughtful touch.
The sunset view was stunning, and the atmosphere overall was elegant yet comfortable.
It was also the second most expensive, although worth it! AUD760 for 10 courses plus optional cheese and 7 paired wines.
Service from each team member was exceptional and there was even a visit from the lovely Davide I felt so welcome and entertained – very important for a solo traveller/diner.
Of the six restaurants that I visited, I only did three wine pairings (an effort to leave space for food!), and Côte was the best of them.
I was given a shawl and hot water and hot tea to drink whilst I acclimated to the AC. As someone who tends to drink hot water with food rather than cold, I love when there is the foresight to offer it before I even ask ⭐️
I fully intend to revisit on my next trip as I feel this one will be a lifelong favourite
What really made the experience stand out was the fantastic service—the staff were warm and attentive. Special mention goes to the friendly and easy-to-chat manager, Gwennolé Le Bras, whose charm and hospitality made us feel instantly welcome!
