We enjoyed a company holidays dinner here. Our servers were excellent, making a novelle drink at my request without hesitation. The appetizers were delicious, the meal choices delightful, the upper room was beautifully set, and the evening was wonderful.

Overall we had a great experience at The Keep! Our server was wonderful and knowledgeable; which was nice since we don’t frequent places like this! Portions were modest. The poke salad was so good I forgot to grab a picture of it! Our dishes were cooked almost perfectly but perhaps a little under seasoned. Will probably be awhile before our return because we spent about the same on dinner as we did for an all day whitewater rafting excursion that stole the best experience of the summer award. You’re definitely paying for the experience as a whole here. A fun treat, felt fancy! Honestly though if you know what you’re doing in the kitchen and have a high standard for food (especially when paying $$$) a home cooked meal might compare.

I reserved a table upstairs on 10-11-25 upstairs at a window table when I got there on time I might add the hostess made up some story about why we couldn’t have the table I reserved she then said I have a table for you she said best seat in the house so she seats us under the stairs thump thump all night completely unacceptable I know she gave out table to someone else. My lamb came out medium like I asked but the spices were burnt and tasted like burnt food our server was great and I tipped her well. My wife and I were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary and our experience with the hostess gave me a bad taste in my mouth and then the lamb comes out blackened. I thought the keep was a quality restaurant and they let me down in more ways than one. I am a business owner in Missoula and have lived in Missoula for 63 years. If I come back it will have to be on the house. Oh and thanks for running my anniversary.

We visited December 2024. We had an excellent meal, great service, and it was a cozy atmosphere! We got the NY strip and the salmon – both were excellent. For dessert I got the key lime tart which was perfect! The crust was shaped and soft but not hard – just lovely. My husband got the triple chocolate mousse cake and he devoured it! This was just a wonderful visit.

Our first time here and being in the restaurant business we are usually never impressed. The Keep is an absolute stunner!!! My husband had the filet paired perfectly with whipped mashed potatoes and grilled carrots!! I had the Rack of Lamb with mashed potatoes and carrots and the Roasted Beet Salad absolutely fantastic!! Cooked to perfection !!! Service was great and the wine was paired perfectly!! .the Creme Brulee. Outstanding!!!!!!. I highly recommend!!! Our waiter AARON Q… BIG SHOUT OUT EXCELLENT JOB!!!!

The martinis were perfect, the clams were so garlicky you couldn’t taste the clam , the baby backs were nice and tender but I detected a bottled sauce. The faro risotto was great the lamb was perfectly cooked on the side but burned to a black crisp on the outside. Perhaps the chef should sous vide? Pepperbridge wine always a pleasure even if it wasn’t the best choice for the meal. The coffee crème brûlée was perfect and we had their two choices of cognac, however my brothers VS was quite cloudy, …good but I’m not thinking I want to go back. The lamb really turned me off. For $350 bucks I should be able to live everything without having to complain and send back half the dishes.

My boyfriend and I went to The Keep tonight for Valentine’s Day and had the best time. We got a booth in the corner which made it a private and amazing night for us on Valentine’s Day. For dinner instead of entrées we got all the appetizers on the menu. Everything was so good 10/10 on food, service, ambiance, parking, wait time and it was so easy to make a reservation online!

Everything was perfect! All the staff was great, and seemed happy to be there. Patrick was our server and was extremely attentive to our needs as well as had great food and drink recommendations. This was our first time visiting for our anniversary dinner and we’ll definitely be returning.
