My server George and his assistant Alyssa provided truly outstanding service—attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to offer great recommendations. I ultimately chose the filet along with the bone marrow appetizer, and both were phenomenal and cooked to perfection.
I also took full advantage of happy hour and enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails poured by the talented Jenika—each one was spot on.
The experience was so good that I actually dined here twice during my recent stay at Harrah’s. That alone says it all. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Hell’s Kitchen Valley Center to anyone looking for top-tier food and service.
What truly elevated the evening was the service. The staff was attentive, warm, and incredibly accommodating, making the entire experience feel seamless and welcoming. From the food to the hospitality, everything met this level of restaurant.
Recommend and absolutely worth the visit.
Everything was fine until my Prime New York steak arrived. It was served with maitake mushrooms on top. Because the restaurant lighting is very dark, I did not notice anything unusual at first. I only realized there was a hair when I had already put one of the mushrooms in my mouth. It was absolutely disgusting. I almost threw up, my appetite was completely gone, and my evening was ruined.
After that, I noticed the waiters standing off to the side near the kitchen area, discussing among themselves whose hair it might be and whether it came from the cooks.
The manager came over and asked if I wanted a replacement steak, but after that experience, I said no. In the end, they only removed the price of the steak from the check, with no real effort to properly address the situation.
We still left a 20% tip for the waitstaff, because this was never about money. However, due to this experience, I will never return to this restaurant.
For a place that presents itself as high end, this was unacceptable. Very disappointing.
First off, it was a quieter mid-week night, which I’m hoping is just a timing thing because this place deserves to be buzzing. That said, the calm made it feel even more special and intimate.
Not pictured: the butternut squash soup. Velvety. Creamy. Absolute perfection. It was one of those “pause mid-bite and look at each other” moments.
Now the Wellington. I was pumped to learn they changed the recipe and removed the prosciutto. Since I don’t eat pork, I was like — game on. And wow. I have never had a more tender cut of beef in my life. Perfectly cooked, buttery soft, wrapped in that pastry… it completely lived up to the hype.
Dessert — the chocolate — was the perfect ending. Rich but not overkill. Just enough indulgence to close out a birthday meal the right way.
Yes, it’s pricey. Maybe even a little overpriced. But you’re also getting top-shelf everything — ingredients, execution, presentation, service. This isn’t an everyday restaurant. It’s not supposed to be. For an occasion? I honestly can’t think of a better place to celebrate.
We walked out full, happy, and feeling like the night mattered. That’s kind of the whole point.
Our waiter was genuinely kind and accommodating — not fake or rushed — and really tried to help and make the experience pleasant, which we appreciated a lot.
We ordered the pre-fixed menu with Beef Wellington, scallops, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The food was okay, just okay. I honestly expected more given the hype. Everything felt warm rather than hot for some reason, which took away from the experience.
The restaurant is definitely pricey, but that’s expected for this place and concept. Overall, it was a good experience and enjoyable night out, but not quite a 5-star experience for us.
It’s insane that the servers have literally the best timing I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. We never had to look for them because they popped up precisely whenever we needed something. Plus the food was to die for! Gordon did NOT disappoint!
Coming away from the experience the meal was wonderful. I loved being there and would not hesitate to go back in the future. Yummmmmy!!!!!!
