First things first, the food was packed with the most amazing flavors that blended perfectly together. My wife’s beef sandwich and my pork plate with rice and beans were top notch! A simple but exquisite menu.
The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from an authentic Cuban restaurant, very chill and welcoming, and the vibe is very inviting.
The staff was over the top when it came to service made you feel so very welcome…we will be back again.

I live about three hours away, but I made it a point to return to this place after a warm and welcoming visit seven months ago. The owners and staff are exceptional—genuinely kind and caring people who make you feel right at home.

The food and drinks are unique, and the menu is easy to navigate. They serve delicious, healthy, and customizable dishes that are authentic cuisine you can’t find on every street corner. I highly recommend it!

Hardly I give 5 to any restaurant but this place deserves it. Assuming the price we paid, we got much better than expected. the food was really delicious and the gentleman was super nice, patient and very responsive.

The food at Cuban Kitchen was phenomenal—and the service was just as memorable! The cook, server, and front man (yes, he was the only person running the entire show that day) was incredibly kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what he does. Despite being the only staff member, he handled everything with such ease and charm, making us feel right at home.

The empanadas were a standout, with their perfectly flaky, buttery dough encasing a flavorful filling that had us craving more. The pulled pork was tender and savory, paired beautifully with the seasoned beans, fluffy rice, and sweet, caramelized plantains—a comforting and satisfying plate. The Cuban sandwich was another favorite, packed with flavor and just the right balance of textures.

But what truly elevated everything was the homemade sauce. It added a unique, mouthwatering kick to every bite and tied all the dishes together. We were planning to buy a bottle to take home, but in an incredibly generous gesture, he gave it to us for free—just one example of the warmth and hospitality that made the experience unforgettable.

If you’re ever in Bend, Oregon, do yourself a favor and visit Cuban Kitchen. It’s a true gem where the food is crafted with love and the service leaves a lasting impression.

Visiting from out of town and decided to stop by for dinner. Absolutely floored by the food, everything we tried was excellent. We stopped the waiter specifically to compliment the house raspberry habenero salsa. We even decided to make room for the flan, also housemade, which might have been the best decision of the meal. Unfortunately, they seemed unexpectedly understaffed, but our waiter/cook, Chase, did an excellent job handling everything until someone who I assumed to be the owner showed up to assist. Highly recommend both for a staff that is cool and collected under pressure and for the food that was awesome at every turn.

Amazing little place with great food. Little watermark when you walk in, the good smells, the art tiles tables, very welcoming ambiance.

The empanada with beef were flaky and delicious. The mango habanero house made salsa was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Ropa vieja was tasty, maro rice, definitely order some fried plantains, perfectly crispy and sweet inside. Cubano sandwich was a favorite.

Definitely give this Cuban gem a try of you’re in Bend.

So yummy!!! Ordered the empanada, ropa vieja, palomilla w/ sweet plantains and moro rice, and flan. Food was tasty, out fast, and service was great! Empanadas were flakey, buttery, and flavourful. The housemade sauce paired with was delicious. The sweet plantains were my fave!! The flan’s custard was a little too hard or overcooked for my liking but flavor was there.

A very authentic Cuban restaurant surprisingly in central Oregon. The menu is totally Cuban and the food excellent. A lot of effort was also put into giving the restaurant a very Cuban feel. Plus, the hard-working server was very friendly and helpful.

I regret not coming here sooner. You look at pictures of what people ordered and they don’t even come close to giving the food justice.

I lived in Florida and the cubano / cuban sandwitch is perfect, great flavors, proper bread.

The Palomilla was so flavorful I couldn’t belive it, the sides of sauce were also a1 amazing.

Simply if you have not been here go, the place inside is r3ally cool also with food fragrances to die for.
