We placed an order for a dozen bagels this AM. It took them 35 minutes to prepare it(not an exaggeration). The Cinnamon Crunch bagels were 1/4 of an inch thick and burnt, the Asiago Cheese Bagels were 2/3s the diameter of a bagel, puffed up like bread bowl and awful and none of them were sliced like we requested…I don’t leave Google Reviews, but this is the 3 straight time that a Panera that we’ve been frequenting for 4 years has had abysmal service……

Update: Panera and Einstein Bros Bagels are owned by the same German company
JAB holdings. Why don’t they just have the nearest Einstein supply each Panera with the perfectly fine bagels every day? This would obviously be beneficial to both of the divisions.
Panera should not be attempting to sell chunks of dough and call them bagels.
I have never seen a triangular bagel that was so chewy that I felt like I was never going to swallow. The asiago bagels were big chunks of dough that didn’t resemble a bagel in any shape or form.

if i could give 0 stars i would. this is my 5th time in the span of quite a few months where this location has messed up my order in the drive thru every time, whether it be a completely missing item, or the wrong item. this is the second time i’ve ordered 1 soup and gotten a completely different one. my receipt says autumn squash, yet i received broccoli cheddar. 50% of the time, the sandwich i order with no bacon comes with bacon on it. i’ve had orders where they completely forgot to put an item i paid for in the bag. i love panera food, but this location fails me every single time. would you pay $18 for this? (croissant not included in image)

No one to take order at counter. You must figure out their kiosk. Place what you hope is your order, tells you to get a pager and enter its number. All pagers are discharged. 25 minutes later they announce our order is done. It is wrong. They fix the order, it is burnt. Wait 15 minutes to speak with the manager…again. If you want Panera, try the one on Shawnee Mission Parkway. AVOID THIS LOCATION!

Came to enjoy breakfast on a Sunday and was nearly impossible with an employee on break (?) talking on speakerphone the entire time. Not sure what’s up with people these days thinking everyone wants to hear their entire conversation. Pick up the phone & talk. Ended up leaving because my husband and I couldn’t barely talk with the loud speaker conversation next to us.

Please pay attention to orders. Missed that the soup should have been in a bread bowl and completely missed putting the kitchen sink cookie with our order. Girls at the counter were busy talking to each other when they could have made sure orders were correct or wiping off the dirty tables in the dining room (every table there was dirty). The soup was very good! The parking lot is a nightmare.

Panera went downhill when they moved locations on 87th street. The restaurant is very loud, the seating is not cozy or inviting, and the service is slow and the staff seems like they don’t want to be there. Also, the food quality feels like it has gone down. Even the size of the bread was smaller last time I was in. The flavors are about the same; but, the preparation was sloppy (there was barely any chicken on the sandwich) and the wait times have been excessive. Everything about this location is lackluster!

Every time a go here the service is terrible. The employees are standing around, even the manager. All the while my to go order is sitting behind the counter getting cold because no one has put on the to go shelf yet. 3 out or 3 times, I have to ask, “is that my order right there.” Also, half the tables are always dirty.

Oh Panera. What has happened? Stopped in for a late lunch, hoping things had improved. Only three other customers in the store, yet every booth except one has dirty plates, cups and used napkins. It was hard to find a clean table. The dirty dish bins are all full. It’s obvious no one has cleaned the dining area for a very long time.
Panera was a goto for my family for years. We periodically try to give it another chance, but no more.
