Absolutely loved our experience at Shogun’s Hibachi! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly right in front of us. I stopped in today after work for a quick bite at the sushi bar. It was great! The sushi appetizer has to be one of the best sushi deals I’ve had. $15.50 for everything in the picture below! Mark was my server he was great. Paul, sushi chef, checked on me and the GM, Chris, stopped at my table to make sure everything was good. Their team does a good job. sushi is excellent.

I had an 8:30pm reservation that I made weeks ago for 6 people on new years eve. Not only did they cram my party of 6 into a table with 10 people (it was set for 8 people and everyone was on top of each other) but when I politely asked to move tables I was left sitting there literally in someone else’s lap for 30 minutes. I was especially upset because I made a reservation, a walk in or a day of res? Okay seems reasonable but I was not given what I asked for and reserved well in advance, there were 8 place settings at the table but 10 people… give me a break. It was clear as day what they were trying to do here and it’s just rude. We were finally able to move tables but only after we waited 35 minutes to simply place a food order, the server was unbelievable rude and short after we had politely asked not to sit on top of each other for a $$$ meal on New Year’s Eve! I will never return to this money hungry establishment. This restaurant has plenty of tables for larger groups but chose to seat us at a smaller table – this was an easy fix from the start but they insisted on cramming people on top of each other when there were plenty of open tables. How dare you. Shame on you. I will never return or recommend this place to anyone for the rest of my life.

Wost service I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant and im not one to complain as a former server myself. Server forgot food, drinks, appetizers and we seen her only twice. We had a birthday and still nothing. Manager didn’t seem to care either. Dont go here if your expecting the service to match the price.

I came here for my birthday after having a terrible experience at the clifhouse in LQ. although, I was feeling so fatigued and sick they still took care of me and made sure I was okay. the owner of the restaurant was an amazing gentleman, the host were kind and welcoming, and the server was friendly, our cook was friendly and polite.!

My husband and I were in town on vacation and decided to try this place. We were the first ones there at 4 PM. We were greeted & seated quickly. We started with edamame. It was a little too salty for me. We ordered three kinds of sushi 1/2 orders special for $24. We had the crunchy dragon roll, GSC roll, and the kamikaze roll. They were all delicious.
Then I ordered the Imperial special with shrimp and he had his with scallops. we both had the ginger dressing salad one had the tofu miso soup the other the onion soup. Both soups were good. The ginger dressing on the salad was OK, I’ve had better. So Victor our chef was entertaining and quite funny. He had his own music which was perfect right up our alley. I’m not sure it would’ve been everyone’s taste, but it was good for us. He did ask and make sure that it was OK with us. He did a great job. Attached volcano video. The steak chicken and shrimp tasted good as did the scallops for my husband. We would come back again if we’re in the area or visit another Shogun restaurants at any of the other locations if we have the opportunity.

Here to celebrate my friend’s birthday (70), who is visiting from Sweden. Last dinner before she went back home.
I think it was an evening when they were short of chefs. 1 1/2 hour before we had a chef at the table. Even the tables around us who was seated after us had a chef before us.
Our waiter, Monique, was great and took the entrees off the whole table. Very nice gesture.
Entrees were really good, and we had vegan tempura, sushi 9 pieces, and a sushi roll on fried rice. Really good flavors and great presentation.
Meat was great and tender. Can actually say it’s was one of the best pieces of meat I ever had, and trust me, I tried everything from 1-5 stars restaurants. Cooked to perfection.
Except from the delay it was a nice dinner.
Only minus is that the ceiling vents really needs a deep clean.

To start off i would say a lot of restaurants have been lacking quality service, NOT shogun. Food was great as well. I wanna give a shout out to Ruben too for showing us outstanding customer service. DEFINITELY will be back!!
