Seeing some of the reviews being up and down; especially when it came to the turkey dinner, I had to come in and try it for myself and give an honest review. Having my days mixed up, I forgot today is Friday so I called and because Wednesday was burger day, they still did the turkey special today.
When I called and spoke to Chrissy and someone else, they were very pleasant and when I got here, she was the host. Anna was my server/waitress. Excellent personality on her, friendly and came to check on me a few times to see if I needed anything else.
Food – Portion was anything but small…5 slices of turkey a huge scoop of potatoes, a bowl of corn and a cup of cranberry sauce. Everything was hot and fresh, even as I let it sit for a few minutes to do a hot/cold taste test.,it stayed hot.
Parking is plentiful..it’s in the corner of a strip mall with stop and shop.
Restaurant and bathrooms are clean..I don’t know what some of these reviews are about. I look for small details and don’t even see a rolled up straw wrapper on the floor.
Based on interactions with the staff, and the food..on a 1-5; I’ll give it a 4.8 and on a 1-10; a solid 8.5.
I’ll definitely be coming back and urge others…base off your own experience or if you DO go off a Google review, make sure they have been to more than one place.
They DO have daily specials that are in-store only, which is attached in photos.

It’s was good nothing special. Burger was good fries where cooked in old oil. Wifey didnt like her chicken sandwich but cool thing is my knife and fork are magnetized Waitress was awesome.

I ordered teriyaki chicken which was a special offer for $15.00. I tipped 20% and got an aweful piece of chicken which had way too much pepper and GARLIC. If not for the pineapple ring I would not have been able to eat it. My sides were cole slaw which was fine. The other side was broccoli casserole which I have had other times and enjoyed. Tonight it was raw broccoli with only crumbs on top run under a broiler to brown the crumbs only. That’s not what I recall and not what I would call a casserole at all. I had my meal take home and had to doctor up the casserole which still was not what I remembered. Unlucky night or the new normal? You decide.

Overall pretty good experience. Our server was very nice and brought our food out quickly. However, calling ahead makes no difference in whether you get seated earlier or not. Just take that into consideration before calling.

Overall great experience at 99 in Bristol, CT. Our server, Ryan, was super friendly, upbeat and really attentive throughout the entire meal. Sweet potato haddock had 2 decent sized pieces of fish and came with a salad and rice as sides. Fish was cooked just right. It’s a unique combo to have the sweet potato crusted topping, might not be for everyone, but it worked for us. 16oz. sirloin tips, came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Tips were cooked medium and were tender. Both entrees were served hot. Menu has lots of choices and with the great service, 99 is a good option for dinner.

We ordered last night. I got the wings and potato skins she got the steak. All I can say is the food was straight trash. My boneless wings the meat itself mushy and soft. I should have known better but i was hungry.The skins had barely any bacon and were under cooked. Her steak was all grizzle and the fat not rendered at all. Shortly after eating some of the wings my stomach got sharp pains. You can figure out the rest. Then woke up in the middle of the night to go again. What a waste of money. Does the cook staff take any pride in what they serve. We will not be back.

Hair in the food (which I removed quietly but regret not speaking up), cold rice, old mashed potatoes, and dry, tasteless chicken tenders. We both had stomachaches afterward. Very disappointing experience and we won’t be returning
