To say this is my worst experience is an exaggeration! Waited nearly an hour for 2 things we ordered. Both food items weren’t even well cooked, I literally could taste the raw spice in biryani and had to spit it out immediately because it was not even cooked. As someone with a gut disease, this food could have truly caused me food poisoning I am convinced. And then they make you pay before you eat which is wild, we literally took one bite and left the food on the table and drove away. The old guy working there was so rude and doesn’t know how to run a business. I truly don’t understand how they have passed any health inspection. I never wish this experience on anyone, please take your money elsewhere!

Sort by the newest reviews and you will know the actual rating of this restaurant! WORST INDIAN FOOD I HAVE HAD IN A WHILE!!! We were traveling back from Zion and thought of having our lunch here. Firstly, when we asked them where to park the car, the owner said he doesn’t know. Just park anywhere. We ordered Matar Paneer and got served Masala Paneer. When I showed the receipt to the owner, he said we are out of stock for Matar Paneer and replaced your order with Masala Paneer. They never asked or notified us of that. The owner never even said sorry but instead told me that we usually do this without notifying and people don’t mind. Bear in mind that the only other ingredient for Matar Paneer from Masala Paneer is Matar!! The Masala Paneer was clearly made from ready to eat tomato gravy. The garlic and plain naan we ordered seemed like frozen and reheated! Won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you are a visitor and looking for authentic Indian food, don’t visit this restaurant.

Very Disappointed!
Had a very bad experience here. We came from quite far away and ended up eating almost nothing from what we ordered. We had the Paneer Tikka Masala, naan, and mango lassi. We were shocked to see Paneer Tikka Masala, it was extremely pink and tasted more like tomato soup, no flavour or spices with a few chunks of paneer. The naan seemed frozen or reheated (very hard and impossible to bite) The man at the counter was nice, but overall, the food was a big letdown. Definitely not worth the trip.

The best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Lots of gluten free dishes. The butter chicken I ordered was super tasty and delicious; they were even nice enough to let us try some of the dishes. The strawberry lassi was really nice and thick, super yummy. The Chicken Tiki masala (Extra Extra Spicy) was also the best we’ve ever had, did not disappoint. Will come back!

What a disappointment! I ordered through Uber Eats and my husband’s meal was $18. I poured his chicken tikka masala into a bowl and found 3 cups worth of sauce and not even 1 cups worth of chicken! What the heck! Rip off. When people choose to order from your restaurant, it’s wise to treat them well so they come back. We will never order from this place again.

The hospitality was worst. We have to wait for 30 minutes to give the order even after the cafe was empty. The food is also doesn’t look fresh. We ordered biryani, they just mixed the white rice with chilly powder and served. The plates were the worst part, you can check the pic uploaded.

Bombay Cafe was genuinely really good. I tried several items from the menu and everything was delicious. I usually do not like eating Indian or Pakistani food outside because it is rarely satisfying, but this place exceeded my expectations.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, especially the paint and mural work. My favorite dish was the chicken tandoori. It had the perfect amount of spice, was juicy, and cooked really well. The samosas and fish were also great. The chicken coconut curry was creamy and flavorful. I usually do not like butter chicken, but theirs was done really well.
I would definitely go again and recommend it.

I recommend the mango chicken. The sauce was boss and the whole thing was extremely delicious. Unfortunately they did not have any mango lassi at the time. The service was not lacking anything and the ambiance/atmosphere was quiet and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Bombay Cafe is such a hidden gem in St. George! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with real care — you can taste it in every bite. Their butter chicken and naan are my absolute favorites, and the portions are generous.
What truly makes this place special, though, are the owners. They’re incredibly sweet, welcoming, and treat every customer like family. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and their restaurant — it gives the whole place such a warm and comforting atmosphere.
If you’re craving authentic Indian food with great service and kind people behind it, definitely stop by Bombay Café. You’ll leave full and smiling!

Extremely tasteless food and a complete waste of money. If you’re traveling toward nearby national parks and thinking of stopping here for a meal, don’t. You’d be far better off grabbing snacks from a gas station.
We called the restaurant in advance and confirmed that it was open until 10:00 PM. We arrived at 9:00 PM, yet the chef/front desk person refused to seat us. Initially, he suggested that we order takeout and eat there, but shortly after, he even denied us the option to sit inside. We were a family of 11, including four small children, and despite seeing this, he still refused. We were forced to sit outside in the cold just to finish the food we had already ordered.
Our order included two butter chicken, one chicken curry, one chicken karahi, two garlic naan, and four butter naan. Not only did we not receive everything we ordered, but the food we did get was extremely disappointing. The taste was terrible—none of the dishes were even remotely enjoyable.
To sum it up, the chef/front desk person was arrogant, and the food was completely flavorless. One star is honestly a generous rating for this place.
