85° sells elevated pastries at humble prices.
Genuinely, the matcha choco bun is one of the best things I’ve ever had, and it’s less than $3. It’s tender, floral, rich, everything all in one package.
They have a huge selection of fresh breads, pastries, and cakes which are all made in house.
The Vietnamese coffee is my favorite, but they have a huge menu of beverages.
Seriously, I do not understand how a chain can achieve this level of quality and precision.

So I had purchase $35 worth of baked goods, on Saturday took em home to bakersfield the same day and refrigerated them to keep em good so they could last a few days. But after me and my friends tried a couple the next day not even an hour later after eating 2 of us threw up and the rest of us were not feeling good. We concluded it was this baked goods. See I have nothing wrong with the bakery or this establishment the only thing im upset about is that im sad that I have to throw a whole box away in fear of geting sick. We give 100% on taste and flavor but sumthing in there was not good. We also had a different assortment of pastries that we had eaten too.

The baked goods here are always delicious. They have a wide variety of things that are bringing out fresh and flavors that make it exciting to look at what’s on display.
The drinks here are also generally tasty. We tried the Vietnamese coffee this time which was really bad. It tasted like instant coffee blended together with sugar and milk. Very bitter. Excessively foamy and then not settles down. You realize you only get half a drink.

Employees were cleaning the top cake shelf using a chemical spray.
They were spraying all areas without covering the 2nd and 3rd cake shelves.
I witnessed the chemicals contaminating both the 2nd and 3rd shelves.
I do not understand how 85°C upper management is training their employees if this type of cleaning practice is allowed.
I spoke with the lead employee, Vy, regarding what happened during the cleaning.
She said she will address the issue, but this is not acceptable.
I am 100% sure this is not the first time they have cleaned the cake shelves using chemical spray in this manner.
Upper management needs to address this issue properly and retrain all employees immediately.
Please reach out to me if upper management has any questions.

Dirty tables, music so noisy, unfriendly staff, and poor service. I stood at the “Pick Up Here” sign for several minutes while employees ignored me. I had to call out for help. Very disappointing experience.

It’s always a treat when we go to 85⁰ Bakery. All of the pastries are fresh & soft, they have the perfect amount of sweetness, and there are a ton of both sweet and savory options. Their milk teas/boba and cakes are also fresh and delicious. My husband has gotten into the habit of taking a box of pastries to offices that he does business with and he believes this has increased his popularity haha!

All the way from Atlanta!! We have tea and pastries shops everywhere, but 85C was great!!! We have been here 3 times this week…CINDIA is amazing!!! She was super nice and helpful with recommendations!! She didn’t miss at all! Hey super bubbly personality was great to experience! The drinks were made fast and taste great! There was not one thing we tried that wasn’t good! Thank you to Cindia and the whole staff! Definitely will be a regular stop next time!

From sweet to savoury this bakery has it all!
The atmosphere was nice, the store was clean, and the line even though there were several people waiting to checkout, went by super quick.
The staff should be applauded for how efficiently they were able to help many customers check out during rush hours!
