Amazing service. These guys work hard. The fish was hot everything was on point. Now we all know this is a fast food joint. Skippers staple is the starter and chowder. If you fish is bland use more tarter. This is that nostalgic all you can eat fill you up fish joint. This place needs to stick around. But quality wise this place exceeded my expectations from my last experience. Keep it up guys I will definently come back again. Chowder amazing, fish crunchy and hot, tarter mind blowing and fries taste like real taters. Need a comfy flashback memory meal this is the place. Cant miss the all you can eat Tuesdays.

I’ve had this place twice now and I just don’t know what the big deal with this place is. It won’t blow you away in any way. Moe’s is WAY WAY BETTER. This place is like an average seafood place you can find anywhere. Also with fresh fish just an hour and half away why doesn’t your fish taste super fresh. Again this place is just okay.

I’d thought that all Skippers had gone out of business a long long time ago, so I was very excited (and surprised!) when by happenstance I discovered a few weeks ago that this location existed! The food was just as delicious as I’d remembered it being years ago, the service was fast and friendly. The menu is predominantly fried seafood, so if you’re looking for lighter dishes this might not be your thing. Personally I will gladly make the 30-minute drive up to this restaurant again, to me the food and nostalgia is worth it. For $10 I ordered the Captains Platter which came with fish, shrimp and clams, plus fries and coleslaw.

TL;DR: Horrible Food.
Seeing the good review, we decided to go to the place but was really disappointed. The fish in the fish and chips didn’t seem like very well cooked, the coleslaw was barely edible. We ordered chowder as well, the smell of which made me puke. The 1 extra star I have added is for their fast service and cheap rates. We went there at around 5 for dine-in.

Cheap and delicious seafood with fast service! Their fish and chips are extremely tasty, even better than a lot of more expensive places in the area. Their fries can get a little big soggy underneath the fish oil but still good. I also really like their clam chowder, full of flavor and spice, with some decent chunks of clam inside. After the pandemic, they got a service window which was an efficient process. They forgot to give me a spoon with my soup last time I ordered, but otherwise I can’t complain about any of my experiences here!

First time there and wow! What a great little place. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and the food was plentiful and tasty. Their slaw wasn’t massed produced slop from Reese’s and the fish, I had beer battered wasn’t as salty as other restaurants. The chips were chips not French fries. And were tasty. On the when the meal was filling and satisfying. I will be visiting again.

There’s not too many of these places left around. The fish and shrimp are not the same anymore. They should rename these locations that are left to “not skippers!” It was over $50 for 2 people.
