Wonderful addition to East Hanover.

The bread options are extensive, fresh and fun. The drinks are even better, as well as the variety of both. It’s tucked at the beginning of Route 10, after BestBuy but before Target & Costco.

The breads, pies, pastries and buns are all well priced, fresh and aesthetically pleasing. None of them look odd, old or mashed.

The staff is friendly, attentive and open to suggestions with your selections.

You can easily go in like most bakeries (of similar styles) grab a tray and fill it to your liking.

Will return! Recommending the red bean buns as always and the egg tarts!

My Mango Slush was very good. I can taste mango with every sip. Vietnamese Coffee was a bit too sweet for me, but the taste is there.
My daughter loved her Boba Tea. My wife loved her other tea drink too.
The best part is that the prices are reasonable compared to so many other places we have been to.
My wife bought a few bakeries but we have not try them yet. The prices are good too.

There are only 4 small tables to dine in. The tables are next to the door. The ground is a bit dusty. Probably best to take out than eat in.

There were a good amount of customers and we got our orders pretty fast.

From Fort Lee, it took us about 35–40 minutes to get here. I was debating between the Flushing location and this one, but chose this spot since I didn’t have to pay tolls or deal with NYC traffic. Glad we came—this location is very nice, clean, and feels modern.

I’m just happy I can get my favorites here: Thai tea, sea salt jasmine tea, and sea salt coffee. Everything tasted just as good as expected. I did notice the drinks are about 30–40 cents more expensive compared to California locations, which was a little surprising.

I really wish they had Thai tea in bottles so I could store them at home. Since they don’t, I ended up ordering a few drinks to enjoy over the weekend anyway. Overall, a solid experience and definitely a spot I’ll come back to.

Amazing bread and even better coffee!
The bread at 85°C Bakery is absolutely delicious — soft, fresh, and full of flavor. Every pastry I’ve tried has been spot on, from sweet to savory. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they do. The sea salt coffee is hands down one of the best drinks I’ve ever had it’s smooth, slightly sweet, and the salted cream on top just takes it to the next level. It’s the perfect balance of flavors and keeps me coming back. The store is always clean, well-stocked, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or looking to treat yourself, this place never disappoints!

I visited your location on January 3, 2026, at 12:05 p.m., where I ordered a Strawberry Matcha. While the matcha itself tasted very good, I was disappointed with the strawberries, which both looked and tasted more like strawberry milk rather than strawberries.

After taking one sip, I politely asked the cashier if the drink could be remade, and she kindly agreed. She then asked which staff member had prepared the drink. At that point, the employee who made it became defensive and spoke loudly about me within earshot, indicating that I was belittling the staff because I had left the straw in the drink. This was not my intention, and I acknowledge that I should have removed the straw. What threw me off was that she stormed in front of me and asked me to remove the straw in which I did.

Additionally, the employee took no responsibility for the issue and instead stated that other staff members had over-blended the strawberries, causing the problem. During the remake, she did not properly prepare the strawberries; they were left in large clumps and presented to me while she spoke in a rude and unprofessional manner.

Aside from the discourteous customer service, I strongly believe the drink was not fully remade. It appeared that the original matcha was reused and only the strawberries were replaced. This was evident from the noticeable downgrade in the quality and color of the matcha, which is shown in the photos I provided.

Overall, this experience was disappointing due to both the customer service and the final product, especially given my initial positive impression of the matcha itself.

Finally! A new location in NJ, and it’s super close to my workplace 🙂 I loved the 85°C Bakery whenever I go back to Taiwan. The drinks, coffee, and cakes were all delicious.

This location is great (okay customer service but delicious baked goods) and with plenty of parking. But it’s a tad annoying to see that the location is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

While I really love this place and I frequent it almost weekly, they really need to get better with consistency. Every time I order it tastes different. At the beginning of the week I got a green tea and it was so overly sugary that I could barely drink it…. Today I just went in for a hot green tea and my cup was not even filled up all the way. They left at least a solid inch between the beverage and the lid. I also was waiting today for quite a bit of time while nobody was in the drink area making drinks, and there was a line. The person at the cash register had to ask for help several times before the young woman came back very slowly. When they first opened it was amazing, lately not so much. 🙁 I still love it, just hope It gets back to amazing again.

We had a good first experience. Such a great platter of pastries. The portion is good and not too sweet. Our group enjoyed eating here. They have small portions of cake too that you can enjoy guilt free. Will definitely visit again.

Waited a long time for this bakery to open on the East Coast. The food is great, staff is friendly. But they need better management. Store opens early, but bakery goods are not available for two hours. They might want to start two hours before opening to avoid empty shelves. They have also been running out of stock right after lunchtime hits. This leaves little to nothing available after 2PM.

I love their pastries! They don’t always have all the flavor buns available but the Milk bun, Guava Pastry and The Milk Pudding Bun are my Top 3 favorites so far! This Bakery is Worth a try for sure.
