I got sushi for lunch. It was delicious! Next time I will call ahead so that I’m not crunched for time on my lunch hour. But she gave me a piece of homemade corn bread while I waited! I have to say… best sushi in town.

Purchased a Thai roll, which was decent and a Spider roll because I love soft shelled crab for dinner. The SR was made with IMMATION CRAB MEAT!! That is not how it is described on the menu nor is it ever made that way. I’ve had it at several other restaurants with fried soft shelled crab.If I wanted a California roll I would’ve ordered one ( which was lesser price). I was told that they were out of asparagus, which was suppose to be in that roll also, and I was ok with that but NO REAL CRAB! Never going back and wouldn’t recommend.

Decided to stop and get some take out. So 1st you could tell the person didn’t want to be there. I ordered about 2ish and paid. then watched the person help others at one point I think they even went Mia. Bout 2:40 rolls round I went to check on my food. Turns out they didn’t even send the order to the kitchen yet. Finally I got my food. No offer for soy sauce or anything. I get home and can’t eat yet cuz there’s no soy. Got some and started eating. So far the pad thia or whatever was decent. But my SUSHI!!!! It’s rolled so loose I can’t pick it up with my sticks, there’s hard pieces of asparagus in some rolls and you can tell the Wasabi is old its hard on a corner. I’m almost scared to try my other rolls. Any other time I’ve ever got anything from here it was decent. But to say the best sushi in town. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

Hands down one of the best local places to get food in all of Vincennes. Everytime I go in they are SUPER friendly, they cater to vegetarians, annnnddd they always give you extra! If you’re looking for a tasty and mind blowing food experience, visit the Asian Food Market.

It is difficult to find the entrance to the location, and parking wasn’t easy to find unless you know exactly where to go. Even when we finally thought we found the right door, when we entered, we still questioned if we were in the correct spot or not.
We did not eat here, so I can not comment on the restaurant side of this location. We stopped to see what grocery items they had, which were very few. However, they did have a couple of items that our regular Asian market doesn’t carry surprisingly. However, I still wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re looking just for Asian grocery items because they have so few items. Hopefully, the restaurant side is worthwhile. Otherwise, we’re not at all impressed.
Also, I’m not sure what was going on, but the police were there for some reason, too, and it wasn’t for a meal. It’s generally not a good sign when you are the only patrons there, and the cops have already shown up, and this is going on. Tbh, the whole place just seems sketchy the more I think about it after having left with our couple grocery items.

Wow. Japanese food officienado here, (I was even married in a Japanese restaurant, lol). Seriously some of the best I’ve eaten! Everything was superb! We had the shrimp tempura rolls, warm, and melted in my mouth with flavor! Easily the best meat egg rolls I’ve ever had – ever…with yum yum sauce and another sauce. Had the large hibachi with veggies fried rice… beautiful taste! Totally impressed!

It is a pity to say that I tried their sushi and was disappointed and disgusted that it does not appear to be made on sushi rice. The rice is old and smelly too. Despite the fact that they claim to have the best sushi in Vincennes, I don’t believe they can compete with Yamato and hibachi.

Greeted by a woman who was less than enthusiastic. She seemed bored or just was not thrilled to have a customer. She was leaning across the counter and spoke to me very blandly.
Most items in the store are not priced, which was my deciding factor in not purchasing anything except a cold drink.
I went into the health side, and the gentleman there was very nice and helpful. Seemed happy to help and had a sense of urgency to answer my questions. He also helped me order some food and was just all around a kind and friendly person.
As for my food. I ordered the chicken pancit, and it was HEAVILY seasoned with soy. So, so salty. I have never had pancit so salty and dark with soy sauce. Also ordered pot stickers, and they are just frozen from a plastic bag. Not handmade.
I wish they had things priced. I was very interested in purchasing a few items, however, did not feel like having to question someone every time, for a price.
I do appreciate the gentleman who helped me.
Very kind and nice to chat with.
