I preordered a mango birthday cake, picked it up and brought it home only to find out that there was mold on the strawberry. Not a little bit either but a chunk that was clearly visible. They gave me the cake in a box so I couldn’t see it until it was opened. The baker must be blind or malicious for this to happen. I don’t know if it’s even safe to eat to this cake. Even if the mold didn’t spread, I can’t be sure that there’s not more moldy mango or bread that’s better hidden. I’m really upset. Good thing I ordered the cake a day early or the birthday would be ruined by this place. Do not eat here. They clearly have no health standards.

I honestly wish 85°C Bakery Cafe would remove most of the tables and chairs and turn it into a pure grab-and-go spot. Too many people buy just one drink, camp out for hours, chat loudly, and take up space that actual customers need. It can get really annoying.
On the plus side, every bread and pastry now comes individually wrapped, which feels much more hygienic.
A quick tip: don’t come too early or too late. Arrive too early and a lot of items aren’t out of the oven yet. Come too late and you’re left picking through whatever scraps the crowd didn’t grab—selection gets pretty sad by the end of the day.

I’m writing my disappointment with my order this morning 12/2/2025. I pre-ordered a Little Cakes Party Tray for my daughter’s birthday at school 24 hours in advance. I walked in this morning at 8 AM, and they said they didn’t have it started! After over 10 minutes of waiting, they handed me the tray, but failed to mention any changes in the order. I said, “ Where are the Green Tea Sponge Rolls?” The reply was, “We ran out so we subbed more coconut ones.” Too bad. The green tea ones were the ones my daughter wanted and she hates coconut.
I had to ask for some compensation for the botched order, and she said I could have a drink. I said I couldn’t wait anymore as we were, now thanks for them, late to school. My name and number were scribbled down ( which I doubt they will do anything about it-seeing their current customer service).
Please communicate and try to compensate if you make a mistake!

This chain’s Bellevue bakery is a great spot for delicious and reasonably-priced Chinese baked goods! The dessert cups and cakes are highly recommended! Since Regent Bakery’s recent departure from the area, I’ve pleasantly surprised at this remaining close option for Chinese cakes for birthdays. We’ll be back again and again for special occasions!

One of the best bakery in our state. I really like this bakery. Cakes are always fresh and yummy. Almond bun is my favorite. Chocolate croissant is also really nice . All of these baked items are really soft and puffy . Prices are little expensive but quality is worth it. Fruit cakes are very delicious. Some times they run out of your fav cakes quickly so better hurry up

85°C Bakery is a must-visit! The pastries are amazingly delicious, and the drinks are just as good. I’ll definitely be coming back for more and highly recommend checking it out.

85 Degrees hits you with bakery overload the moment you enter. Pastries galore, tempting aromas, lively chatter – it’s a feast for the senses, maybe a bit too much. Coffee’s okay, they serve Guatemala beans, but not mind-blowing. Food’s good, portions small-ish for the price. Plenty of options for breads, cake and pastries. We liked the fruit based ones more. Savory pastries have like 1 or 2 options for vegetarian versus 10-15 with meat. Seating area is pretty small so limited to 6-8 chairs.
Hits: Decent coffee & pastries, lively atmosphere.
Misses: Hype can be overblown, prices on the higher side, couple staff members were arrogant today but other times I always found everyone else courteous.
Verdict: Good for a casual caffeine fix or pastry craving, but there are places that offers cozier, more unique coffee nooks if you seek something special.

Nice bakery with a huge spread. I always passed by and see the queue and wanted to try it out. We took a savoury baked item with spicy sausage and one with the mushroom. I realized now I did not note the name. Anyhow, both were really good. The baking was even on both and had lots of flavor. We also took a berry crisp bar packet which was gooey and tasty. Will love to go back to try out some more items. Was disappointed a bit as they did not have coffee and well I kind of need a drink with my baked snacks. The picture somehow seems incomplete without the coffee. Anyhow, it seems they are short staffed and hence not serving drinks. Will definitely come back again and try more stuff.
