fries were lowkey kinda oversalted but I don’t blame them lmao it was busy as hell
The menu is intentionally limited, sticking mostly to burgers, fries, and drinks, similar to their NYC spots. Service stood out in a good way. The staff were friendly, efficient, and especially accommodating, they took the time to check allergen information for someone in our group, which was really appreciated. Even though the line wasn’t too long, there was a bit of a wait for the food, but it still came out faster than expected considering everything is made fresh.
As for the food, the burgers are on the smaller side, but that’s kind of the point. They’re affordable and easy to eat, more of a quick grab than a heavy meal. The burgers had that classic smashburger style: thin patties, a bit greasy, but in a good way. It was oily, but not overwhelming, and still enjoyable. Flavor-wise, they hit the mark, well-seasoned, satisfying, and exactly what you’d expect from a casual burger spot.
There was a bit of inconsistency though. One of the burgers we got was noticeably drier than the other, which made it feel slightly less satisfying. It’s not a huge deal, but something that stood out compared to how solid the other burger was.
Overall, 7th Street Burger is a great option if you’re looking for a quick, affordable bite in the Boston area. It’s not trying to be anything fancy, but it delivers on flavor and convenience, perfect for when you just want a solid burger without spending too much time or money.
