Try the Sweet Potatoes Souffle!!! You will thank me later! The food is so good. The atmosphere is great for date night, small gatherings or even just a solo day out. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. When it comes to the drinks, the bartenders are good at their job. So grab some friends a go get a table. 10/10 definitely recommend. ~CW

The food was delicious and the service was excellent—hands down one of our best dining experiences in years.
My mom ordered the combo with pulled chuck and collard greens and gave it a 10/10.
I had the Queso Blanco Sandwich, also a 10/10—absolutely loved it.
We shared the smoked sausage queso, which was an 8/10. The flavor was good, but the sausage came in chunks instead of ground, which wasn’t our preference.
My daughter had the chicken nuggets and fries and gave it a 10/10. I really appreciated that the nuggets were made with real, non-processed chicken.
I also tried the fried spare ribs, which were a 7/10—good, but not our favorite compared to everything else.
Shout-out to Trent, our server—super attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. He truly enhanced the experience.
We will definitely be back. Ask for Trent!

So our family of three was really excited to try this place out as we are major foodies! First off, our server, Darius, was very nice and very hospitable. We began with the egg rolls and the fried spare ribs as an appetizer. Both were excellent! My husband and I had a mule and it was good but nothing impressive. The three of us shared the baby board. It was plenty of food! The coleslaw and Mac n cheese were just ok. The collard greens were excellent and we love collard greens so this says a lot. The pickles were nice and crisp and a great flavor as were the pickled onions. The smoked wings were delicious, tender in the honey dollar sauce. The sausage was good and the Carolina mustard sauce paired well with it. The smoked chicken had a good flavor but a tad dry. The BBQ meat was fatty and super greasy. The half rack of ribs were super dry. Really disappointed by the BBQ meat and ribs. The banana pudding was just ok.

We were coming through Augusta and searched best restaurants. We ended up here. We went with three of the favorites, smoked ribs appetizer that was so yummy with hot honey, the brisket tacos with collard greens, and the Asian chicken sandwich with fries. I also had a dirty martini. Don’t sleep on it all! We will definitely be back. The service was so friendly and helpful.

Run don’t walk to 5th & Fire, and let me tell you why! From the moment you walk in, the service is amazing… I was walked through my to-go order and pairing and it was 100% what I wanted and needed!
Atmosphere was calm, you can have a great conversation at the bar or your table…
Oh yeah, the food is amazing… 14hrs of meat preparation and you can taste it… ribs pulled a part and don’t tug to hard on the brisket, it rips easily.. such a huge fan of this 3 meat 2 side meal… Mac&Cheese was so cheesy and went great with their beans…bottom line, I will be back…
Can I give a special shout out to Ryan at the bar… he made me the best hands down by far, my favorite espresso martini … and I will be back for sure!!!
Thank you Chloe and the staff for making me feel so good about choosing this marvelous plate… I only ate half!!

Me and my husband just ate here and the vibe was amazing. The drinks were good I enjoyed my margarita. The high lights to me were the brisket and Mac and cheese. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and to be honest it tasted like chicken salad in a tortilla and what made it worse was the dipping sauce was mayo based. All in all great place would definitely eat here again.

Really cool place. Great decor inside with wood and brick and black trim. Big bar area and plenty of tables with a large back room and second bar as well. Great area for a large party. Food was delicious. We had the brisket nachos which could probably feed 3 or 4 people and the brisket quesadilla and potato salad. Everything was fresh and hot. Service at the bar was great. Decent beer selection on tap as well. Definitely recommend!

We had lunch here today for the first time. We live in Aiken, and it was nice to stop somewhere in Augusta for lunch. This place is huge! Caverness! It’s nice because they’ve updated it, but it is a bit like eating in a hanger at the airport. lol. The fried pickles were good. Definitely salty if that’s your thing. My son had the brisket and pimento cheese sandwich. He said it was really good, but very rich, and he suggested brisket without the pimento cheese for his next trip. I had the pulled chicken plate with two sides. I picked the smoky baked beans and the collard greens. Beware that if you order the smoky baked beans, they are not joking about the smoke. For me personally, I couldn’t eat them, and they happily brought me potato salad instead. We also both drank water, so we can’t comment on the drinks. It was full by the time we left, Anne & would be a great place for a crowd because they have plenty of space inside and outside. It was very clean and very bright because they’ve added skylights in the ceilings. We would go again. I’m curious if they do trivia nights…?

The smoked ribs were unbelievable and the brisket was very tender. Mac and cheese was spot on. The collards were OK. A little to much stem left so a little under done. Service staff was so nice and the atmosphere was great. The bathroom could have used a little attention. Would absolutely come back.

My son had recently discovered this local gem and wanted to have his retirement dinner here. He called and the staff reserved an area for large groups. This is a new BBQ establishment that has plenty of local and kraft beers on tap. We waited at the bar for most of the group to arrive and met one of the best bar tenders that you can find. Ryan the bartender is the backbone that supports the entire front of the house. We had a group of 25. The staff that works here, all display outstanding teamwork. The food was great. Several of our party had the nachos appetizer as an antre. The portions are good sized and the back of the house makes great homemade souther style dishes. The salad with your choice of meats is outstanding with the brisket. They offer several salad dressings. If you want to experience something stupid good, mix the sweet heat BBQ sauce with the Vinegar BBQ sauce and use it on your salad. The ribs were fall of the bone with a great smoke flavor. I recommend anyone wanting to boast about Augusta, bring your family or group here. There is issues with parking, so arrive at 5 and you will find plenty of parking, and happy hour until 6
