Huge improvement from when I was there 3 yrs ago. This may now be my favorite place on/by the south end of the lake! Absolutely worth stopping in for the driving range, golf simulator or axe throwing. Even hanging out for a beer or 2 is nice. Very friendly place. Certainly worth a stop in for someone who hasn’t been there before. Hot dogs r great too! It was brought to my attn, I didn’t mention how good the cod fish fry was by my wife in my post, it was the best in the area…..not super greasy like other places. The food here was wonderful but the service was subpar at best. We waited for an hour for our breakfast and we couldn’t even get refills on coffee because our server disappeared. I hope they figure out the service thing because the food is really amazing.

Sat down and waited 15 maybe 20 minutes before a drink order was even taken. Then waited another 45 to an hour for food. The breakfast buffet was getting priority and when our food did come out it was stone cold. Eggs were rubbery and tasteless. Hashbrowns were either burnt to a crispy mess or just so greasy it was inedible. The biscuits and gravy were disgusting. The gravy tasted funny and the biscuits were dry as could be. Our server was rude as could be about a simple silverware request. The table next to us experienced similar things as well as having raw meat ontop of the “famed” bloody Mary. I get a busy Sunday morning and I get being understaffed but this was absolutely unacceptable.

Really unique place. Axe throwing is a ton of fun. Driving range is great. Cheap to get a bucket of balls and not feel bad about being terrible at golf. Our waitress was great. We sat outside and there was a sign saying go inside for service, but she was there taking care of everything. The inside is big and pretty classy. We’ve been here a couple times and it keeps getting better. We shared a mushroom and swiss burger and an Italian beef dip and it was amazing, definitely worth a drive for us. Oh and their garlic parmesan fries have fresh grated cheese, we love our cheese…

We keep wanting to like this place, but we have had another poor experience. We ordered carry out-pretty simple. One order was 3 piece cod dinner with baked potato. The other was a bacon cheeseburger. The fish was about 1.5 pieces and no baked potato. The bacon cheeseburger had no bacon. In addition, I had to wait about 20 minutes after I arrived to get the order.

Got the giant Bloody Mary and some appetizers; it was good except the sliders on the Bloody Mary sucked. Had a very odd atmosphere and got stared at most of the time by some servers and some customers. Definitely has a “rich white/white supremacy” type vibe. Probs won’t be back.

A friend and I got food poisoning here last Sunday. Non stopped vomiting for 3 days. Had high hopes got let down, and I missed a couple of days of work because of it. 10/10 would NOT recommend. A $30 meal cost me several hundred dollars will not be going back ever again.

1st time back in a year. New restaurant area is nice. But…. had the Chicago Dog and was very disappointed!!!! Use to be the Best I Ever Had. Last night the bun was Hard and horrible. Really shouldn’t call it a Chicago Dog since the bun wasnt steamed! Service was slow and had to go to bar to order. No need to go back – too many other places to eat.
