Love 54 – our favorite neighborhood eats out. The entrees are huge. The bento boxes are my personal favorite as I love the variety, but the sushi & salads are incredible too. If you’re vegetarian, there are a lot of offerings as the noodle and rice dishes can substitute the meat with tofu. Try the veggie tempura – so crispy and fresh. The outdoor seating is great.

The food was decent, but the price point to food quality ratio was way off. This is the quality you can get at any mid range Asian restaurant but you would pay between 50-70 dollars for what we got for 150. The menu is all over the place. There’s Chinese, Japanese, Cantonese, Thai, and Vietnamese food with steak fries and country music in the background. They also need to put some serious consideration into their staffing issues. I went on a Friday night and I think there was one waitress and a dishwasher who looked like he hated his life running the floor.

When we first arrived at 54 restaurant, it took someone about a half hour to make it to us, a couple who was seated after us, was taken care of before us. But finally a waitress came over, apologized for no one coming to help us. She was a wonderful waitress.

Wow! The burning love roll, lamb chops, and fresh sushi were so delicious! Best food I’ve had in a while! The huge patio with tropical flowers created the perfect ambiance and our waiter Shoy was so helpful. He gave us awesome recommendations for food and drinks. With such great food and service, I’ll definitely be back!
