I’ve been here a few times over the Years – but this time was Awesome! Lisa the Server gave me a recommendation of the patty melt – the pickle chips – the onion rings – and the Best carrot sticks and ranch! Love this place! And Lisa Rocked! Old School place families would love it..

We came here to celebrate a friend leaving for flight school because most other places were too busy. I ordered the sunfish basket and a side of cheese curds and my husband the cob salad.

We used 5-8 club for a 50 person work program, and the food was exceptional! It was such a fun and delicious surprise for everyone that we had Juicy Lucy’s. Jill was incredible to work with and very responsive. We will be using them again for sure!

Great place for a group. Our neighborhood went there for a Wednesday lunch. Their special was a burger and fries for $5. Good portions and delicious. Anytime you can eat at a sit-down restaurant for less than fast food, it’s a huge win. The burger was much bigger than fast food places. The service was awesome, and the menu looked good. Someone ordered a giant basket of onion straws. They were a great add-on to the burgers. We will be back.

The burgers were juicy and just perfect. Love the cheese in the middle. Not a fan of the bread but that’s an easy fix. I just took off the top bun. Cheese curds were so good. I wanted to eat them all. Service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

Today was a much better food day than I have been having in the Twin Cities, Saint Paul, to be more accurate.

I ate at the 5-8 club in South Minneapolis about 15 years ago and wasn’t impressed. After having so many great jucy lucy’s elsewhere, I didn’t have high expectations, but the Saucy Sally was super delicious. Filled my craving for a “Cease and Desist” from Blue Door, and was even pretty comparable flavor-wise, albeit the bun was a little bit stale (not that bad, but clearly less-than-fresh). Service was friendly and great.

My family and I went here on Father’s Day for breakfast and were completely ignored by the waitress. It wasn’t busy. Other tables were seated and helped but not us. I was given the explanation by who I can assume was the manager that the waitress was new. I suggested further training and I was told by this so called manager that I WAS MEAN! I’m in a field where if the customer isn’t happy you lose their business and YOU LOST OUR BUSINESS. Not only does the waitress need further training but so does the manager.
