My boyfriend and I had the best dinner at 33 Staves with their new menu. The ambience was elevated but chill and our waiter Andrew was attentive and gave great recommendations. I had a tequila cocktail, crab cakes and risotto that was amazing. My boyfriend had an excellent old fashion and the pork chops. Those pork chops were ridiculously tender. So good!

Very disappointing. Such a nice hotel and I wanted to like the restaurant but the food was poor and the service was worse. I had a burger and the bun looked like it had come out the freezer and had been defrosted in the microwave. Very unappetizing.

Great happy hour deals on beer, wine and food. Fantastic bourbon selection – as expected. Ambiance is great, especial for a hotel bar.

Went for a work function. Food was really good. They have a rotating menu. Desserts were good as well. Yeah the menu is limited but what they make was great. And presented well.

We made a reservation on the Saturday prior to valentines for 5:30. We weren’t greeted promptly, actually stood around waiting on someone to acknowledge us for some time. Finally the waiter waved us in. The table was cute and ambiance was nice and welcoming. They had a Valentine’s Day specialty menu in addition to their day-to-day menu, pictured below. Drinks were pricy, food was a little pricy but was good except it was over salted. In fact, it could have done with no salt, we had to take breaks from eating bc of the salt issue and I noticed someone else below made this same comment and it has not been corrected. The chorizo fritters were good but if you didn’t know they were named “chorizo fritters” you wouldn’t know they contain chorizo because it contains so little chorizo. The beer cheese is Amazing! The harvest salad and burger were both good again though, salt! The waiter was really nice, and attentive. The total for everything pictured was $85 before tip. So a pricey dinner but I would eat here again. Just note- ask them to go LIGHT on the salt!

So…we stayed at the Origin in January and both accommodation and dining at Staves was fantastic. It’s a bit off the I75 track but given our initial experience were excited to stay and dine here again. I think the stay part is still fine but the dine part was pretty awful. Serve staff were good but dealing with a really pared down menu and subpar kitchen. Hair in salad, tough grisly tasteless steak frites, and a too liberal pet policy. Dog on banquette with head on table. I’d hate to be the next at that table. Anyhow, hope they sort it out because it was a gem…feel for the servers. And, I should have figured there was a restaurant problem when they gave us a free dessert coupon for a pizza place if we ate there, a block away, when we checked in. Shame on me!

Overall, it’s a small menu, nothing to rave about. We had chicken wings, lamb ribs, a salmon entree, and the pork dish at our table. Nothing was bad per say but nothing was outstanding or stood out to where I was like I gotta come back…

Had the Bourbon Glazed Porkchop Chicken Hot Brown. Hot Brown lacked flavor. Collard Greens were pretty good. First time here.

WOW! The best place in town for atmosphere and food in the summer. It is sooo beautiful and perfect nature all around and people watching. Its sooo swanky and comfortable. And the food! LOVEEEE! They are so cool there and just nice people. We got to get some great shots for our social media- it is picture perfect! Great place to go on a date or just hang out for drinks!

Loved this place! food was great and the bartender who took care of us was very attentive. The chicken hot brown was ridiculously good and my wife’s black bean burger was really good as well. Drinks were as good as we’ve ever had. I would definitely go back again.
