3 Margaritas restaurant is an example of the immigrant dream, which included financial success as well as a chance to go back home and help those left behind. The nine Morales kids, six girls and three boys, slept on mats on the floor of a two bedroom house at their small ranch. After school they worked in the fields. Today all of them own at least one restaurant. After crossing the border Nicolas Morales ended up in Seattle where his brother Manuel lived.

I had the 2-combo plate with an enchilada and a tamale, and it was absolutely delicious. The enchilada was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the tamale was tender with great seasoning. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.
Wifey ordered the quesadillas and really enjoyed them too — they were cheesy, hot, and came out just right. I also grabbed some menudo for the morning, and I’m already looking forward to it. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

The margaritas weren’t our favorite, they tasted pre-made. However, the molcajete was delicious! I’d definitely order it again.

Do not go here! Apparently everyone else knows this because the place was dead at 6pm. I went with a friend and our kids and the food was gross! First off it was so insanely hot you could tell they left it in the microwave way too long! My chili rellano was pathetic. Supposed to be crispy and it was soggy. You can tell it was heated in the microwave. My hard taco was scorching hot that when I picked it up, it just crumbled into mush! I sent the plate back. I got my bill and the owner decided to come yell at me because they were trying to charge me for at least the taco that I disputed. The owner was so unprofessional, making herself look like a fool. Tried to accuse me of eating half the plate and trying to get something for free. Why would anyone go out to eat with friends and family, take a bite and try to get it for free. Ridiculous! I was hungry and wanted to eat!! Honestly if they even offered me the food for free, I would not eat it. I remember this place many years ago being so good and always busy. I can’t believe how downhill its gone and they dont care! They dont care how they treated me, they dont care about the quality of food, they dont care their bathrooms are dirty. There are tons of Mexican restaurants to choose from and I recommend anything else but this one!

I had never heard of this restaurant, and I was with my friend in Lakewood and we stumbled upon 3 Margaritas joyfully. The atmosphere was very festive and inviting. We sat in a beautiful booth and was greeted by Alex who took wonderful care of us throughout our visit there. We split the fajitas – steak and shrimp and they were pretty good. The guacamole lacked some spice to it, but the chips were delicious. The harpist came over and sang a song too. A pleasant surprise and we will go back again.
Alex, keep up the good work!!

We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The waitress was quick and pleasant, even though busy with a large group at another table. The restaurant offered a great variety to choose from, and the food was delicious! We will return and recommend to friends & family!

3 Margaritas is not your typical Mexican restaurant, it’s feels like a home cook meal. Their chicken soup will help you with any cold or hunger. I got the Chile Colorado and it was tasty. The meat was so tender and had so much flavor. It’s a must have. We also got the enchiladas, yum yum yum. Listen, you can’t go wrong here. But fair warning, their plates are huge and you will over eat…
Enjoy….

My wife and I have been coming here for years. It’s always fantastic. If you come in there early evening and you’re lucky enough to have Esmeralda or Annaye as your server, consider yourself very lucky. But all staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food is consistently good and well portioned.
No matter what you choose to eat, everything is great.

Came here with my sister and wooow their food was amazing, greeted right away with chips and salsa and constantly checked up on for any of our needs. We shared the ceviche and fried fish, had a mango marg and horchata for the drinks. Spent like 70 for everything! Great deal and delicious homemade food!!!! Beautifully decorated, they were singing happy birthday when we came in and that was so cute so def the spot for the family celebrations, we will definitely be coming back to this location!

My friends and I started our evening with a stop at 3 before heading to our concert at Red Rocks. The restaurant had a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that set a great tone for the night. The colorful decorations were full of personality, and it instantly lifted my mood. The food was authentic and flavorful. The portion sizes were generous—I couldn’t even finish my meal!
