This is my new favorite BBQ place. Brisket and pulled pork are really good. The apple pie dessert WOW! In general the place is beautiful, with lots of open space and outdoor area.

6/24/2023: This is the kinda place you wish you could give more than 5 stars! Outstanding Texas friendly venue! It’s on a large piece of historic property surrounded by beautiful trees; one is 5 centuries old! We met the owner. He gave us the background (you can read about it on their website). We went for an Elvis tribute concert (Kraig Parker) and though we’ve had temperatures in the 100s, it wasn’t too bad. They have large fans and the seating area is completely shaded due to the positioning. It is not covered, but it is shaded. So, if it’s raining, it would not be an ideal place to be. We ate dinner first inside the restaurant. It smelled amazing upon entering. That Texas barbecue smell! There’s a cute little gift shop inside with fun merchandise. We were seated within 2 minutes. We enjoyed a couple glasses of wine each, then we had the brisket grilled cheese, pulled pork sandwich, fried okra and jalapeño creamed corn. Everything was fantastic! Our waitress, Chloe, took excellent care of us. We split the items so we could try as much as possible. $75 (after tip) for our meal. I was expecting our dinner to be a lot more expensive. The outside concert area is dog friendly, there’s a dance floor off the seating area, they have a large outdoor bar and there are air conditioned restrooms outside. The owner introduced the artist after thanking our military and first responders. Then he led us in prayer. I was so touched by this experience. I loved that we prayed and everyone stood plus removed their hats. Very Country and made me proud to be a Texan of the great United States of America! The drink prices are great. 5 wines between the 2 of us and our total was only $48 (after tip), The concert prices are great too – $35 per ticket. Parking is very convenient and directly by the seating area. You don’t have to worry about anything happening with it so close. Plus, you’re in the country surrounded by good people. I felt very safe the entire night. We had such a good time and I’m going to be checking their calendar for fall events. Whether you want dinner, a show or just drinks, this place will not disappoint!

Visited to see a favorite entertainer from the early 90’s. Arrived early enough to enjoy a meal prior to the show with stage front seating. The venue is an outdoor stage with an out side deck. Even though the temps have been “feels like 103”, the outdoor seating area was pleasantly cool, with lot’s of huge fans situated to provide a cool breeze to the crowd. And speaking of a crowd, the venue is intimate, we were sitting maybe 15 feet from touching distance from a star we adore and could actually have a conversation with in a normal tone. I haven’t explored the rest of the venue but they do have a restaurant with indoor dining, an outdoor bar, and restrooms for the concert were situated outside as a separate building, they were clean, spacious and well air conditioned. I will be returning next month and will explore and provide an update. I highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem!!!

Great venue!! The owner is so kind, and each time we’ve gone, he has come up to us to thank us personally for coming out!! It is family friendly and the shows end around 10:30. I would say definitely get a table for seating if you want to sit down to enjoy a show. There is a dance floor, and the restrooms are well kept! Overall, it is one of our favorite places to go!

Our first time here. They may be a good venue for music but the food experience wasn’t great. We tried fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. They were not very flavorful. The hamburger was good and the fries good. The meatloaf was a very unappealing presentation and was overpowered by the gravy, which probably should have been served on the side. The jalapeño corn had no noticeable jalapeño and not much flavor. The gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant but it took a while for wait staff to follow up. Beautiful location.

We went there for the first time last night to see a band play. We quickly found out that you could not order food inside and take it outside. We would need to settle for the bbq sandwich and chips that were outside. I did not understand why. We found some empty seats at the bar inside and were quickly told to get up and check in in the front with the hostess. The hostess told us we didn’t need to check in because there was no wait at the bar. Lol. We ordered food and drinks at the bar and the bartender lady was amazing. She helped us get into a better vibe then what we had been feeling for the place. The meatloaf was amazing! The smokey flavor was delicious and had my taste buds in ecstasy. Also the 3 meat plate with the brisket and smoked turkey was really good and plenty filling. We went outside after eating to see the band play and the area outside had an awesome ambiance about it. There were a few service people that were short with us and it seemed like they felt bothered was mainly why I gave this 4 stars. Ill be back when I’m back in the area.

My wife took me to this restaurant for my birthday and told them and they stated they would “mark it as a birthday” This place considers themselves a 5 star restaurant. First thing, the chicken was extremely dry, steak filet was dry, the waiter was way to distracted, all over the place. The drinks we ordered could have caught the place on fire with how strong they where. Never got an acknowledgment for the birthday. I’ve had better at taco bell at 12 pm at night. Horrible service and horrible food. Do NOT recommend. Trust me we are high value people and would NOT recommend.
