Delicious food and a warm atmosphere. I felt like I’d been coming to this place for years! We’ve been a couple times while my sisters have been multiple. They are greeted like old friends and served quickly and efficiently. The chili is amazing (corn casserole came recommended and we weren’t disappointed!) and the burgers— to die for! Highly recommended!

Loved my experience here❤️❤️! The environment is absolutely beautiful—calm, fresh, and relaxing. We sat on the patio under the trees, and even in the summer evening heat, it felt cool and peaceful thanks to the breeze and shade. It’s such a great place to escape the city for a few hours and enjoy a bit of quiet Texas charm.
We ordered the fried chicken and prime rib. The fried chicken was fresh, crispy, and delicious! The prime rib didn’t meet my expectations, but our server Izzy was amazing—so sweet, professional, and attentive. She and the manager handled it so well, offered to replace it, and made sure I was happy. I got the filet instead and it was cooked perfectly.
I had seen some negative reviews about service, but my experience was the total opposite. Izzy checked on us multiple times and truly cared about giving great service. She went above and beyond.
Also love that the place is full of Texas history—it’s built on land where Sam Houston’s army once passed through during the Texas Revolution, which adds such a cool, unique feel.
Highly recommend for the atmosphere, the people, and the escape it offers from the busy city life!

Excellent food and service. We had fried catfish, brisket grilled cheese, 2 meat combo with turkey and brisket, and half rack of ribs.
I wish they had a two meat combo that included a few rib bones but they do not include ribs with their combos.

Unfortunately, this was the first time ever that I was served a T-bone steak that was close to being in the beef jerky category. Everyone has their preferences, and I’ve tried eating beef cooked different ways, but I have to eat beef well done. I never been to this restaurant and I didn’t select it. I ate my beef jerky and didn’t make a scene, paid the bill with a good tip, and left.

The food was ok nothing special, I’ve had better. I had the slice brisket and turkey plate. Brisket had good smoke but not much flavor (needs more marinading time), turkey was a bit dry but edible.

If you are looking for a place to hang out and love live bands, this is the place for you. Just watched a journey tribute band and the were fantastic. Check out there page for great concerts in the future. Going to see John conlee next. This place is great.

Wonderful outdoor venue for a country music concert. We saw the Bellamy Brothers and sat right in front of the stage with table service. Food options are limited but excellent like the ribs or the chopped brisket sandwich. We had a great time and would go again if we are in the area

Food all tasted great but got their ribeye special and it was just a strip steak. Been a butcher for 15 years, family owns a slaughter house and kinda my big pet peeve when places do this. Even told the waiter and he ensured to me that it was a ribeye which idk how he can verify considering he’s looking at the same steak I am. Was good tasting though, jalapeños poppers were great, wife’s dish was good I just can’t support liars. Wish I took a pic to verify but I was starving and after the waiter stood his ground figure oh well.
