Came here when they first opened and the food was great. The older lady who was cashiering was rude…. another customer had to check her. Came another time, and they gave me food that had been sitting on the counter that wasn’t picked up by the person who had ordered it. I happened to have ordered the same thing. The food was cold and I didn’t like that the cashier was dishonest. She was also not pleasant. I came one last time and decided not to go back because the counter girl is too damn disrespectful and shouldn’t be servicing customers.

The food is sooooooo delicious. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The restaurant is also extremely clean. We ordered the fried chicken with oxtail gravy and yellow rice, jerked chicken with platanos and yellow rice, and oxtail with yellow rice and steamed cabbage. This is definitely the spot to hit up especially if you’re from NYC.

Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience here. Maybe it’s because they just opened but hello, first impressions are everything. I got a Mac & cheese & wings, The Mac was horrible, dry, noodles were literally brown, and the wings were not fresh, soggy. Sorry, y’all gotta step it up. -sincerely, a Jamaican.

Hands down best Caribbean food in the Poconos. I’ve lived here for 7 years. His soup is so flavorful. Preferable the chicken soup or red pea soup. Jerk chicken and curry goat always exceeds expectations. I appreciate him keeping the flavor authentic versus the other local Caribbean spots that want to tone down the Caribbean flavor for a specific group of people. I’ll stop it right here iykyk! Try the cabbage too!

My brother recommended this place to me so I was excited to try it. I was sorely disappointed. The lady handling the check out had a bad attitude and is not friendly at all. The lady serving the food was nice and handled my order with a smile. I asked for two meals and to my dismay, they did not have it so I settled for the oxtail meal. It was a 5/10. The meal did not include oxtail gravy which was highly disappointing. The veggies weren’t good. The rice was okay and the oxtail itself was okay. I was very underwhelmed with my experience going here. I also ordered a soup and a potato salad on the side. The soup was a 6/10 and the potato salad was a 7/10. I will give this place one more try before I write it off completely.

Just picked up food here for the first time and I’m extremely disappointed. The Mac and cheese was incredibly dry and hard. The chicken pasta was also dry. Visited for the first time. They only serve certain dishes on certain days, i.e, soup and pasta. I requested $10 worth of chicken and received a small 3 pcs chicken. Chicken was overly seasoned. I also ordered curry goat with rice and peas, plantains, and cabbage. I requested extra gravy. Didn’t receive much. Overall, the food was ok. As for the atmosphere, the music was appropriate, yet too LOUD! Hardly can hear the servers. Since they’re just starting, I’ll probably try them again in 6 months or so.

FINALLY, some culture in E. Stroudsburg. The atmosphere is great, the food hands down is the best in the surrounding area, and the service is fantastic. The ppl that work here is kind and approachable. I strongly recommend visiting this spot. Best take out I had since moving here ten years ago. GO U WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
