Tacos Jerez has some really great combo deals that make it easy to grab a full meal without breaking the bank. The food is pretty good overall, and I especially love that they have a drive-thru option, which is super convenient on busy days and/or with kids. They were pretty timely too.
If you’re ordering for kids, just make sure you clearly specify that you want the kids size and confirm the price at the time of ordering. They do have a kids menu, which I really appreciate.
Their bottled aguas frescas are very good too definitely a must-try! I enjoyed the lemon cucumber one and also ordered hibiscus. The only small thing I’d suggest is that the beans could use a little more salt and flavor. Other than that, pretty solid spot with good value.

We usually always go through the drive thru and everything is pretty good. They have a great option to order online. Today must have been an off day. We get our combos with fries but we were given rice and beans instead. Beans are pretty good, has a slight heat to it; nothing major. The amount of protein they give in their tacos are great. The color and seasoning of the steak was good. They also give the perfect size for limes. There is just the right amount. I would recommend this place to everyone for sure. Pricing is decent for the amount of food you get.

I went in thinking it would feel like normal fast dining, yet I ended up having an outstanding moment here. The large taco platter was easily worth it, offering rich, real Mexican flavors. All five in our group ate well and left completely satisfied. The staff was warm, caring, and truly welcoming. Excellent food and an even better atmosphere!

So disappointed in the Huntley location. I’ve been here twice and both visits have been bad. The last time we got here 40 minutes before close and as soon as we walked in were told we could not eat in the restaurant because they were closing and would need to take our food to go. Even though there were other people eating inside. We were annoyed but agreed. Maria could tell we were annoyed. She then proceeded to have a conversation with the a guy who was making our burritos. It was so obvious that they were talking about us. We took our food and left. The burritos were not great. The ingredients were lopsided in the burritos, the meat was cold and mine was misshapen. I will no longer go to the huntley location. Elgin is by far superior to this location. The cooks are great, the staff is nice and friendly and the food is better. There is a clear difference between these locations. Huntley seems to be run by kids who don’t care.

Ordered a steak burrito, barely any steak in it. Tasted more tortilla than anything. Asked what the breakfast birria burrito came with and cashier looked annoyed and replied with it says it on the menu. I can read perfectly fine, my question was more or so if it came with other ingredients or any other side.

Dined in for dinner tonight and had the chicken burrito meal. Food was good I wouldn’t say it’s completely authentic but it’s good nonetheless. Portions were a good size. I appreciate the variety of salsas they give you from mild to hot. I really liked the creamy avocado salsa! The lady working the floor was so friendly she was awesome.

Stopped in for a quick bite on a late Sunday afternoon. Service was quick. There were only 2 other customers dining in. Restaurant was very clean and tidy. The employees were friendly.
We ordered the Burrito (Asada) and Taco (Pollo). Both items were prepared with fresh ingredients and seasoned perfectly to my liking.
