Had a wonderful dinner last night at 1873. Our first time there and what a gem! The vibe of the restaurant is wonderful and the service was fantastic. Cocktails were excellent and we were given plenty of time to enjoy before our server took our food order. The filets were delicious and cooked to perfection, as was the salmon. The timing between the salads and entrees was perfect. It is definitely one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time and I look forward to returning soon. A great place to celebrate special occasions.

My wife and I went to 1873 for Valentine’s Day 2025 and had a great time! The staff was fantastic, the service top notch, and the food was excellent. We started with the chef’s board, which was well balanced. My only comment there was it could have used a cracker as an alternative carrier to the toasted bread. Still delicious! After our chefs board they brought out a bread board with olive bread and sourdough, both of which were amazing (best sour dough I’ve ever had- so soft!). They even included a pallet cleanser of melons before our entrees. For the main course, I got a Caesar with scallops and my wife got a filet with Yukon mashed potatoes- both amazing! My wife ordered the coffee and toffy torte for dessert- I do not like either of those flavors and so it was not for me, but she said it was excellent (and it was huge- she had like 4 bites and was done and we still have like the 2/3rd of it left over!).
All said- super great place that’s definitely worth checking out! We will be back to be sure! Thanks to our waitress and the rest of the team for making it an awesome night!

Great anniversary dinner. Very attentive and friendly service including from Nadia B who was our main server. Everything was delicious. Very nice atmosphere. We started with the mushroom crostini and steak tartare. Then a half wedge and half Caesar. Entrees were chicken parmigiana and the scallops with risotto. Everything was perfectly delicious. We’ll be back.

Stopped in today for our first ever Dinner at 1873. My wife and I walked in and absolutely Loved the Ambiance, it was like stepping back in time. Our Waitress Kennedy was Spectacular! We started out with drinks, then off to some appetizers. The main course was off the charts Fantastic! Then it was off to a Spectacular Crème Brûlée!!! WOW! What a Great Dining Experience it was! We will definitely be back soon!!!!! Thank You for Such a Great Evening filled with Amazing Food, Drinks and Service!

We and another couple went to celebrate our anniversaries. Service was exceptional and the meal was delicious.
We started with the wild mushroom crostini and lobster deviled eggs. Our main entrees were the Kobe sirloin, Faroe Island salmon, oyster mushrooms and grains, and scallops. Everything was perfect.
We had a great night and look forward to dining at 1873 again.

Had an absolutely wonderful anniversary dinner. Our server, Alex, was the best! The steaks were cooked to perfection! Definitely a place to go. A completely enjoyable evening. We will be back.

The food is far superior than what we have grown to expect from the Kirby House franchise. We had a wonderful experience with a knowledgeable waiter. Many of the staff are still in training, so it did take some time, but we didn’t mind since it was such a lovely night and we had some delicious cocktails.

The atmosphere and decor were very nice.
Our waiter was very good. Friendly, polite, and conversational.
I had the Ribeye, and she had the prawns, with wedge salad.
What a complete disappointment. My steak looked great, but was flavorless, and chewy. We had to ask for her prawns (very undersized) to be replaced . Very rubbery, had a hard time cutting them with a knife. The replacements were frankly, not much of an improvement although they were at least warmer.
I’d say if you’re looking for a nice meal out, pass on this restaurant.

My wife and myself celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there. Food was fabulous, servers were attentive and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommend the ribeye! Anne was our server and did an amazing job!
