Just ate here and this is a great local steak house. Lots of seating but on the weekends you must make a reservation to dine here. They have a nice selection of steaks and they’ll bring them raw to your table to help you choose which one you may want. Of course they also have fish and a kids menu as well. Excellent deserts, good mixed drinks and even Trappist beers to choose from. If you want a good steak after the beach then I recommend this restaurant.

My 80 year young husband has Parkinson’s Disease, which is rapidly declining and in a Nursing Home. Our 46th Anniversary was July 9th and I knew I couldn’t take him to the restaurant, so I asked them to come to us and they did. Everything was delicious. Thank you 1776 and Tom for making our day so special and unforgettable. You are 1 special person in my book. I am thankful for those good people that are still out there.

Dinner was amazing and the waiter Paul put it over the top!! Service was incredible. He recommended a blue cheese topping on my steak that just pushed it over the edge for the best flavored steak I’ve ever had. Unfortunately I unknowingly left my credit card at the restaurant but Paul hunted us down to return it. We will be back next time we are in the area. Thanks again for a great experience.

This restaurant never disappoints. My husband ordered his steak medium rare and it came out a little too cooked but it was still delicious . Tom (I think the manager) came around asking how everything was my husband mentioned his steak was a little over cooked. Anyway Tom took good care of us and the rest of the evening was a special birthday celebration for me. The food was delicious the Oysters Rockefeller Appetizer was the best. Thank you Tom for making my day a wonderful experience.

The food was excellent. The delmonico and scallop chips were delicious–perfectly seasoned! They give large portions, enough for you to have a take-home “human bag.” First time, wonderful experience. I look forward to returning so that I can try the prime rib. My waitress Terese was extremely pleasant, the entire visit.
