Had an amazing date night with my husband at 1703. I’ve heard great things and had high expectations. My expectations were certainly met. We had a wonderful watermelon and blackened shrimp salad. The snapper was fantastic. The creamed corn with the snapper was so yummy. We tried the berry crisp and chocolate ganache crisp. Both were great. Lovely atmosphere and staff.

My BLT was outstanding!! It was the highly of the experience. The bread they gave us before brunch was also very good. We didn’t make a reservation cause I couldn’t find a way to do it online. We were the first customers on a Sunday morning and they were able to seat us. The walls are very green. I think the outside looks like the best stop to sit. This is definitely the kind of place with lots of regulars. I’d try it again.

First time visit for a date night. Small restaurant feel with terrific service and food! From the burratta and starter Caesar the staff was welcoming and did not disappoint. It was challenging to decide based on the menu options but with help we down-selected to the salmon and lamb loin – both were cooked to perfection and had great flavors. Many dessert options to choose from and the blueberry tart and key lime pie were the perfect ending. My only regret is we took no pictures. Will definitely be returning and recommend!

The restaurant was pretty busy but was able to squeeze us in last minute, which was appreciated. The seating was very tight and we were close to the surrounding tables, to the point where we could clearly hear their conversations and barely understand each other across the table. The service was good, although the waitress disappeared often and was difficult to flag down. The overall atmosphere was cozy but plain.

Amazing service, also would have ordered most of the menu, looks great. The wine list is killer too and all reasonably priced for the quality. Start with the bread and butter, wow, a genuine surprise. The goat cheese bbq brussel sprouts great harmony of a pairing. The wild mushroom risotto hit all the notes, superb! The sea bass was cooked just nice and crispy, yet flaky w/ this lemon sauce succotash. Great execution of the creme brulee, perhaps more vanilla, only selfishly saying cause I want to order again! Great dining experience.

1. Outside dining and ambiance was fabulous! 2. Small appetizer and main dish portions for high price! Expensive. $60 per person without alcohol. 3. Delicious large desserts. 4. But the servers were CLUELESS about food allergies and seemed 100% annoyed about having to answer our food allergy questions and couldn’t and didn’t look at any ingredient labels. They knew that we had multiple allergies at our table including a nut allergy which is potentially very severe and they just slapped down bread on the table with no explanation as to whether there were nuts in it. When asked (more than one staff was asked too), they threw up their hands and said it was a “may contain” so just don’t eat it when they even had white bread option in the back. Very disappointed that staff there do not seem to be trained about how to cater to customers with food allergies or intolerances and then to be rude about it is even worse. They also do not know the ingredients in the food that they are serving. You all must do better in order to stay relevant.

This is our go-to place to take friends and family for an amazing dining experience. The owners have done everything perfectly! I recommend the spinach salad, sea bass dinner and dark chocolate crumble.

We went today, April 13 for lunch. We had the rare tuna plate which was absolutely delicious. The tuna was thick and perfectly cooked. 1703 is always a favorite of ours due to their changing menu.
