First — this is inside the Georgetown Inn on Wisconsin, but don’t let “hotel restaurant” fool you. The space is bright, open, modern, and just feels good the second you walk in. My dining partner and I slid right into seats at the bar and were greeted immediately by a bartender who absolutely nailed the whole experience.
Loved that they offer both the lunch and breakfast menus (breakfast until 2:30 PM, which honestly feels like a gift).
We started with the fried Parmesan risotto balls and listen… crispy, golden, cheesy little clouds of happiness. That herb aïoli? Ridiculous. Perfect start.
He went with the eggs Benedict and I have to mention this because the portion was no joke — huge, beautiful, and clearly made with care. I ordered the tomato soup and the kale & Brussels sprouts salad, and wow. The soup was silky, rich, and the kind you immediately want again tomorrow. The salad was fresh, bright, and loaded with pomegranates, almonds, apples — all the good stuff — tossed in a lemon vinaigrette that just worked.
We shared a bottle of Fossil Chardonnay (perfectly chilled), and our glasses were never sad or empty. Attentive without being overbearing — my favorite kind of service.
Dessert was Nonna’s rum cake with what tasted like legit house-made whipped cream, and they were wonderfully generous with it. My partner ordered a double espresso that smelled amazing, but I happily stayed loyal to the wine.
Everything about this lunch just hit — food, service, vibe, cleanliness, all of it.
Also… half-price burgers on Wednesdays and half-price bottles of wine on Thursdays? Say less.
Already planning my return. Five stars without hesitation.
We stopped in for brunch on a Sunday and enjoyed mimosas, Shakshuka, pancakes and kielbasa. This place has a great vibe, great service, good music and delicious food!
Our server, Ron, was amazing. He was very informative of the menu, his favorites, customer favorites, the chef’s style and gave great recommendations for places to see while we were in the area.
The Shakshuka was hot and fresh as well as delicious.
The pancakes were good and the kielbasa was some of the best I’ve ever had!
We had a pineapple and a grapefruit mimosa. Both were good. They did not skimp on the champagne.
I had the Tequila Sunrise Mimosa (pictured) to drink. The Chorizo Breakfast Tacos were absolutely delicious—flavorful, well-seasoned, and perfectly satisfying. I changed it up and got the rum cake for breakfast was moist, rich, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal – Roberto recommends adding coffee with it. Great food, great service, and a spot I’d definitely return to. Highly recommend!
