The Goodhue Depot was a refreshing break from the standard fare offerings in big city locales. The historical building was carefully restored to its glory days as a transportation hub between Rochester and the twin cities. The attention to detail was obvious with the colors, restored woodwork, and tall windows. The food and service added to the atmosphere of a bygone era, where a personal touch made all the difference. Although we missed the last train by over 50 years, the echos of past passengers remains.

Worth the wait! Visited on a late Sunday morning so was busy which meant we had a bit of a wait for our food and drink orders to be made. Very tasty paninis, coffee drink, and peach cheesecakeice cream! Chai was meh.

I loved this comfy, cozy old depot! I met a client for coffee. It was delicious! Probably better than the big chain franchises. There was an area that sold local wares. Unique gift items. Two smaller meeting rooms decorated in the era to match the depot. I enjoyed my visit! I will have to try food items another stop! I’m looking forward to it!

Fantastic experience! First of all, it’s gorgeous, just a fantastic job restoring this gem for lucky folks to enjoy. So much history here. The place is spacious inside with comfortable seating, lots of light, and immaculate. Super fun menu, very reasonable prices, and perfect portion sizes. The strawberry salad with creamy feta dressing was sublime! The sandwiches are served on local homemade bread! Delicious coffee also! I can’t wait to visit this little ldepot again! It makes Goodhue a destination! Thank you for keeping history alive and incorporating it’s charm into today’s modern world!
