5/5 – Fantastic experience at 13 Coins, Vancouver WA!

We had such a wonderful time at 13 Coins in Vancouver! From start to finish, everything was excellent. We sat at the counter and loved watching the chefs work, it added such a fun, lively atmosphere to the meal.

We started with the steak bites appetizer, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My husband and daughter both ordered the steak and eggs breakfast, and they couldn’t stop talking about how tender the steak was and how perfectly the eggs were done. I went for the spaghetti with meat sauce, and it was hearty, comforting, and delicious.

We couldn’t resist dessert and shared both the cheesecake and chocolate mousse, a perfect sweet ending to a great meal.

The food, service, and overall vibe were top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

@cshine421 worked up an appetite with DarkShine exploring The Coove earlier today and decided a side quest for Lavendar Lemonade was in order. Found the best place for mocktails and clever creations here at 13 Coins Vancouver. They didnt mind we ordered sides that usually come with entrée’s and thats good cuz as you know, I’m gonna do what I want, when and wherever. And that goes double for food. The risotto btw was so good I forgot to take a picture!

My family and I came and our party was quite large but we were seated promptly. I remember distinctly having asked if I could bring my wagon in to sleep my infant at that time and it had been quiet enough for me to get a yes. I was stunned mostly because I didn’t think I could but everyone was so understanding! I was able to enjoy my meal and still be able to watch my baby. The food was great and their drinks phenomenal!! Everyone was literally so kind, the food was brought out timely and very delicious! I haven’t had the time to visit again but I do highly recommend!

Our favorite restaurant while visiting Vancouver. Excellent food in large portions. Large selection of wines. Trendy but comfy. Beautiful romantic booths with 13 coins embedded in the table. Fantastic kitchen in full view. Bar is upscale. Can’t wait to return!

I came here for a lunch meeting recently and had a decent meal here. The interior is pretty spacious and clean. They have both a breakfast and lunch menu that is served most of the day. I decided to try their Philly steak sandwich with fries. My friend got the breakfast plate that had hash browns, spicy sausage, eggs and toast. The steak sandwich was decent in flavor. The bread could’ve been better in my opinion, but it did come with an au jus sauce which was good to dip.

We wanted to try something new and decided to try 13 Coins for brunch on Valentine’s Day, and were so pleasantly suprised! It’s rare that BOTH of us like the meals we’ve ordered and the service too – but that’s exactly what happened, and we will certainly go back.Their vegetarian frittata was excellent, the eggs benedict was perfect, and I thoroughly enjoyed a cup of their extra-hot latte!! We also found parking easily 2 blocks away, the walk was to and from was brisk and very pleasant. We had no reservation and had to wait only 10 minutes, yaay!! we’re definitely going back. P.S. prices were comparable to other typical breakfast/brunch establishments, and seating much more comfortable!

I ordered ahead for pick up: Caesar salad and a BOWL of French onion soup which was quite disappointingly small (as pictured, the bowl was barely over half full) and deconstructed but had pretty good flavors. Sadly, it wasn’t hot. I’m sure it’s better served for dine-in. I requested the Caesar to be dressed as I don’t like to attempt to toss my own salad in the car. It was fresh and very flavorful. The Caesar dressing is very unique and tangy, maybe has a special kind of red wine vinegar or something? I liked it, but not as much as typical Caesar. My light/small lunch was very expensive and parking was a huge challenge just to run inside for 30 seconds.

The whole experience was a hassle and disappointing for the effort and expense. I would have more happily paid half of what I did.

I opted not to pay the additional $1 for utensils but received them anyway. They’re flimsy and as cheap as it gets. See photo . I didn’t use them

I wouldn’t order take out from here again, but I do look forward to dining in one day and walking off my meal for parking.

UPDATE
Gave it another try, this time in person. Saturday night music was nice, but also loud! They were out of veal which we hadn’t been informed of until after deliberating over meal choices and getting excited over it. Cocktails were a little flat and disappointing. Dinner was pretty good. I’ll say the sauces including mayo and ketchup are superb! My chicken with the Chicken Picatta was tough and hard to cut, and the risotto was flavorful but also pretty basic. The Shrimp in the Seafood Venettia was overcooked but everything else was great. Not excellent, not amazing, everything was pretty good.

We came with a group of 8. We all ordered pretty quickly, mainly burgers and salads around lunch time before an event. It took almost 45 minutes for our food to come out and once we got it we all ate pretty quickly since it had been such a wait. When we finished it probably took another 10 minutes to get the check. The restaurant was fairly empty at the time so not sure what took so long.

Kody was my server. Customer Service was very nice. The breakfast was good. However the mild sausage was not for me. They were overcooked and a little dry. I ordered the steak salad for later and def enjoyed it. The ambiance is relaxed. If in the area, please give them a try.
