Yesterday’s dinner at 1011 Bistro was not the norm. The duck seemed to be under cooked, au gratin potatoes were cold, and Brussel sprouts semi hard. The seafood pasta was delicious! The Whiskey Cake is amazing-so yummy!

Jill and I have been to this restaurant twice over 1 year, and we really enjoy it for the excellent service and the beautiful view over the Guadalupe river, especially at sunset (see photo). While I wish this place had a full bar, the wine selection is solid, and the wine and food prices are both very reasonable. The ahi tuna tostadas were flavorful with a piquant wasabi or horseradish cream–not sure the cream is necessary, however. I had the mint/yogurt rack of lamb that was perfectly seasoned and cooked–nicely done. Jill had the antelope that was served like chicken fried steak, which I found too gloppy and strangely bland. Nonetheless, I recommend this restaurant, especially for couples or families wanting a classy but reasonably priced place to dine.

We visited 1011 Bistro to celebrate an anniversary for friends who were visiting from out of town. Our friends are chefs and they loved the food and so did we!! The appetizer mussels and crab cakes were yummy. We also had the filet mignon, sea bass and seafood pasta for dinner. It was really delicious. I would recommend a reservation as this place is popular in Kerrville!!

What a great evening. I had the seafood pasta, wife had the sea bass, and a friend had the steak. All perfectly cooked, excellent presentation, great service…at just the right time the blinds were lifted and the sunset on the river was just icing on the cake! A great place with great ambiance and excellent cuisine!

The view from this fine establishment is so refreshing & the ambiance is very relaxing. I had the Calamari appetizer, which was amazing & the filet mignon was so perfectly prepared that I even tipped the chef. Brady was the service member who attended me & he is personable, professional & prompt. I had an overall excellent experience.

Arrived early on a Monday night- parking along the street in front. No reservation but were seated immediately behind the hostess ( blocked by some well placed plants) on the center raised section of the inside. Good river views, not a very large room so noise levels were minimal. Started with warm bread and soft butter, then moved on to two steaks. I had the broccolini which was perfectly prepared, seasoned and delicious. Steak was delivered at the temperature requested and the server attentive without being overbearing. They also offer some outside seating and on the right night (weather/temp) this would have been a nice option as we checked to view as we left. Watched the sun go down and the water roll peacefully by. Nice place.
