This was hands down the best romantic dining experience in TX . The view was absolutely stunning and made for the perfect atmosphere. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I was so sad to hear the restaurant had to close due to flooding, but I cannot wait for it to reopen. It’s truly one of a kind and worth the wait!

A hidden place in Texas. Quite a beautiful spot. The server had mentioned that there is a college /University campus across from the Restaurant. To describe this place or the town that the restaurant is located at … very nice . this place is surrounded by a beautiful water view. However, I did noticed that there are a lot of churches.. I counted 12 churches ( might have missed many more) No offense to churches, I thought they were pretty neat to look at.. I also heard that it was a place of Bible school? Other than that, it was quite a nice day to stop to rest for a bit and try out their food yes, it was good.

Trevor is an amazing waiter, very personable & professional! The filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection, talk about melt in your mouth!! The calamari was crispy, not chewy at all!! The crab cakes were so-so. Lots of crab meat but not much flavor seasoning-wise. Everything else was very tasty The sunset view with the river was the icing on the cake!

Overall everything was amazing except the risotto. Not a fan of it, it was really bland but the whiskey cake made me forget all about it. Views are super nice definitely very romantic. Took awhile for the food to arrive but worth the wait. Only thing I wish is that they would have a full bar instead of just the beer and wine. I did think it was weird they asked if we were celebrating anything and I said 3 year anniversary but we didn’t get anything for it, so why ask?

Trevor did an amazing job, made great recommendations. My filet was delicious and my husband enjoyed his sea bass. Beautiful views. The wine recommended was a great pairing. You ust try the desserts. The whiskey cake was to die for!

Amazing food and Atmosphere- honestly the seafood pasta was the best I’ve ever had!! Home made fettuccine noodles with fresh seafood was insanely good. The Whiskey Cake too was a Wow! Everything was so good. You guys have a special place here.. Will definitely be back. Thank-you!

Wonderful restaurant! We had a table on the balcony with an Amazing & beautiful view of the Guadalupe river ! The food is incredible & the presentation is impeccable! We had the filet mignon & ribeye which was so tender! We celebrated my birthday & they presented me with a wonderful & delicious dessert. The presentation was perfect. Made a reservation with a request to sit on the patio which has a nice view of the river. I was a bit put off that the wait staff wasn’t wearing face masks.
My waitress didn’t really have any personal recommendations, which I thought was kind of weird.
They serve complimentary bread and butter. I had pear and goat cheese salad and the lamb rack. Both were tasty.

Excellent place all the way around! Husband & I were in town for a little get away. This place had been recommended so we gave it a shot. So glad we did! The food was amazing, our waiter Trevor was very friendly/ knowledgeable & the location is perfect on the river. We look forward to dining here again next time we are in the area! Highly recommend the salad that has pears in it (can’t remember the name) and the lamb ribs. All so good!
