I recently visited Zzizim Korean Restaurant in Carrollton, TX with my daughter, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. We ordered the seafood pancake with green onions, beef bulgogi, kimchi soup, and pork belly, and every single dish was amazing.

The seafood pancake was perfectly crispy on the outside and loaded with fresh seafood and savory green onions. The beef bulgogi was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right sweet, smoky, and incredibly satisfying. The kimchi soup had a rich, comforting depth with just the right amount of spice, and the pork belly was absolute perfection: juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor.

Beyond the food, sharing this meal with my daughter made it even more special. Zzizim delivered both quality and comfort, and you can really taste the care put into each dish. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Korean food in the Carrollton area, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a craving for their seafood pancake, to my disappointment, it was really thin and not much seafood, but tons of green onions! We also had the fried mozzarella sticks, gyoza and a beef with tofu!My favorite was the beef & soft tofu stew, the tofu was very silky and had a lot of flavor, enough for two people! The mozzarella sticks were very cheesy and hot! There’s a bell for you to ring if you need service, which is very convenient. The ban chans were good too! They had 7 different types and it’s unlimited!

We tried Zzizim for the first time through Uber Eats. We got small assorted pancakes, dumplings & rice cake soup and seafood tofu soup. Zzizimi was great. We would order again.

Zzizim is a solid choice with good prices and generous portions. The seafood pancake stands out; it has a great thin texture and excellent flavor. I’ll definitely return to try the other items.

This restaurant is known for their pancakes and this seafood pancake was delicious, full of squid and other seafood, as well as scallions. It’s also cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The spicy beef soup was good with lots of beef and vegetables. I thought the flavor was less intense than some of the others I have had. Restaurant was clean and well kept, and there is a button to fall for service. My only suggestion would be to use filtered water or serve Korean tea.

This is such a great place to get seafood green onion pancakes! It was so crispy and flavorful. It was definitely the star of our meal. Sauce is as well provided for you to dip the pancake in, but in my opinion, it was scrumptious without it. Service was great and the staff is so friendly here. We were served by a nice lady who gave us a jug of water and our utensils to start with. She also cut our seafood pancake for us, which was very nice of her to do. I ordered the seafood tofu soup and my husband ordered the spicy beef soup. All of it was delicious and the broth was not overwhelmingly salty or sweet in either soup. Also a plus about this restaurant is how clean the bathrooms are. My husband said it’s like a five star hotel bathroom. Overall, it’s a must-try! We will absolutely be back to try the other items on the menu and for the various pancakes served here! 맛있어요!

Korean fried chicken is really good. Seafood and green onion pancake is pretty low on seafood for the price of $22.

If authentic Korean cuisine is what you’re looking for, try ZZIZIM Korean Kitchen. The quality of the food was very good. The small platter was plenty enough for the six of us, but it was tempura battered fried rather than the variety Korean pancakes we expected. Service was excellent: fast and responsive. A pretty good choice for our Sunday evening meal.

This is hands down the best Korean seafood pancake in DFW. True to their name, the pancakes are exceptional—thin, crispy, and not too doughy, which sets them apart. The green onions are whole, fresh, and add great flavor. While their other dishes are solid, the seafood pancake is definitely the highlight and worth coming back for. The service is attentive, and they offer private rooms for larger groups, which is a nice touch for bigger parties.
