We went there for lunch , it was very quiet. Took a little while for our food to get ready but as my husband says- that’s when you know they’re making it fresh for you and not just reheating the premade food. All the food was freshly made and delicious. It was a hot December day, we had walked a lot in the saguaro park and the food just hit the spot. Our server was nice and friendly too.

Found this place on accident. But definitely glad I did. Me and my wife and children had an excellent dinner here. The staff was amazing and friendly. I don’t know if he is the owner or not but Yudi was an exceptional host. I made the mistake of going to an Indian restaurant in ordering a spicy meal and asking them to make it extra hot. In which our host was gracious enough to bring me some yogurt smoothie to cool the burn. My two very picky children when it comes to food, enjoyed every bite. The rice was amazing as well and the naan was fantastic!. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re into Indian cuisine.

We stopped in for an early dinner this evening after the gem show after looking at a couple Indian restaurants in the area and we definitely chose the right one. Im pretty sure the owner was the host/server at the time and our food and service were excellent. The samosas are are fresh, not frozen and are very good, as well as their chutney. The atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy. I will be back every year now

The man that we spoke to, Indian, feathered hair in his 40’s or 50’s on January 31, 2026 at 7pm.
Very disappointed. We stayed nearby specifically so we could walk to a local restaurant. When we arrived, we were met with outright rudeness.
The man we spoke with was dismissive from the start. When we asked for a table for two, he abruptly told us nothing was available for several hours—despite multiple empty tables and the restaurant not appearing busy. When I glanced around at the vacant tables, he snapped, “Look at me—do I look like I care?”
If I were the owner, I would want to know that staff behavior like this is actively driving customers away and costing the business money. We left immediately, and when I mentioned that I would be posting a review, his response was again, “Do I look like I care?”
Unacceptable customer service.

Zyka Twist is a small, cozy Indian food spot in Tucson that left a good impression. The place is tiny but beautiful, calm, and nicely kept. The food was good, and the goat was said to be halal, which was reassuring. The people working there were well-behaved, soft-spoken, and respectful, making the experience peaceful rather than rushed. A simple, quiet place for good Indian food without any noise or drama.

What a wonderful surprise to find Zyka Twist so close to my home near University! I was craving Indian food and chai all day long!… however, the Indian restaurant I usually go to is closed on Monday. I decided to try something different and my expectations were more than exceeded! The chicken spinach saag was so comforting and the chai tea was freshly made and absolutely fragrant! Everything is made fresh! Also, the portions were a fantastic size and the waiter very kind and accommodating! I’m surprised I haven’t heard more about them on instagram as it seems like there social media presence is somewhat lacking. However, if people knew they would be incredibly excited to try their high vibe food!

It’s our first time in Tucson and we were craving some Indian food. We really enjoyed the cuisine here. We shared an order of Chicken Tikka Masala and Dhal with garlic naan. I really like how the lentils in the dhal were left whole with large chunks of fresh ginger. I normally order my food very spicy but since we were sharing the dishes we ordered them mild but the food was still extremely flavorful. We will be coming back next time we’re in town. Sorry, we didn’t take any photos of the food.
