Seriously, never had a bad bite, and we ordered pretty much the entire menu. I’m a chicken and waffles connoisseur, and this was one of the best! My wife had the ribs with the Mac and cheese, and both were stellar. Our friends had the shrimp and grits and the pot roast and man, I wanted to hug the chef! Our server Jessica was super sweet, knowledgeable and very attentive! Highly recommend!

Love this place. Sexy vibe. Food was fire! The ribs and pot roast was my favorite & the fried ocra was surprisingly good and I don’t like ocra. It was busy so our server was working hard to keep up, but we really appreciated he attention to our needs. Will definitely coming back.

Had a little mix-up with my reservation at first (my name was spelled wrong, so things started off confusing), but Ana personally called me, apologized, and refunded my deposit. Super professional and she made it right, which I really appreciate.
After that? The night was a whole vibe — food was fire, drinks were strong, music and atmosphere were on point, and Misha took such good care of us.
We had a great time, and I’d definitely come back again.

OMG, you have got to do a Brunch Date here. Were the with your girls for a girl’s date, or with your bros for a guy’s day out, it’s an amazing time. From the start, you agreed it with a red carpet entrance, the inside is amazingly decorated and very welcoming. The host s are very friendly, the bartender make sure drinks just right (I had the Italian mimosa, 10 out of 10, highly recommend), and the food with this Cajun Flare is amazing. ACTUALLY, OUTSTANDING… The price is very reasonable and a portion size is great. I highly recommend going.

The food was good but the service wasn’t. I’m traveling from Richmond, VA and made reservations and was moved from table to table (after being repeatedly asking if were buying bottles and showing a text message exchange that showed nothing of sort being discussed) and then as SOON as we finished eating, we were told we had to leave because someone specifically asked for our table. As you can see from the pictures, there are plenty of places to sit.
Coming back to report that after all that hustling and rushing, they also messed up our bill. And the dress code is giving where what you want.

The food is full of flavor and cooked to perfection, food that hits the spot. The vibe is unbeatable with great music that sets the mood just right. Service was warm, friendly, and on point. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Ended up here on a solo night, and let me say, I am thoroughly impressed. From the diversity of the staff and patrons, to the music and the food and drinks. I know a few comments on here are saying to take a date, definitely a good date night out spot.. but let me tell you, don’t miss out on this gem even if you have to go solo. Lol I sat at the bar and received lovely service. They have a limited late night food menu, so I must return soon to try their main menu. Love it.
Update: Went back for dinner for my cousin’s birthday, and omg.. I had the Mama’s Founduta Tortellachi pasta and my gosh, it was de-li-cious. Like, GOOD! My mom had the pot roast and she said it was the best pot roast she had ever had and it “melted” in her mouth. My cousin had the shrimp and grits, he also said his was delicious. My mom’s friend had the chicken and waffles, and although small, she also thought it was tasty. Everything was just wonderful.

Very delicious and affordable food. The portions are small, but are a benefit because you can buy TWO entrees without breaking bank. The place is very diverse and appears to be visited by many Africans. The music is such a vibe. They mostly play 90s to 2000s R&B on a Sunday evening between 5:30 to 7ish inside, and there was a live DJ on the outside patio playing afrobeats while many folks drank and smoked hookah. I had the pot roast and chicken and waffles. Very delicious. I would visit again.
