Zydeco’s is a family, friendly environment and serves several different options of fried seafood and boiled crabs and shrimp. We do not have a buffet but offer specials daily for lunch and dinner and also a variety of boiled seafood all day long. We also have a kids menu and have other menu items that are not seafood. All of our sauces are made from scratch and our food is very well seasoned with our own unique taste that Louisiana is popular for. We take pride in our food and service.
Roadhouse with classic Cajun eats including lots of seafood plus all-you-can-eat seafood specials.

I visited Zydeco’s on a Saturday evening—no wait, which was great. The service was attentive and friendly. I had boiled crawfish (flavor good but quality so-so—about a 6.5/10), soft shell crabs (8/10, well-balanced seasoning), and gumbo (6/10, could use more protein). My daughter found the Dungeness crab a bit salty, and my son enjoyed the shrimp pasta. Cocktails were just okay. Overall, I’d return—definitely for the soft shell crabs. Worth a stop if you’re in town!”

We came in vacation nearby and came in for lunch. Food was excellent and the staff was really friendly. Our server was training someone new and they both did a great job. We all got the Zydeco Combo Platter, two with sweet potato fries and one with jambalaya. My dad said the jambalaya was really good, I’ll try it next time. Portions are huge and it comes with a salad. I ate about half and took the rest home. The soft shell crab was the highlight for me. It does get loud in here when it fills up. If you want it quieter, go early. We got there right after opening and it was chill, but by noon it was getting busy. Great experience overall. We’ll be back.

We were visiting New Orleans and staying in the Harvey/West Bank area to save a little money. We found this place on Google and it was fabulous. It was clearly a place to locals eat, which means the food is good. Everything we got, from the shrimp to the crawfish to the pasta, was top-notch.
Service was also excellent and prices were very reasonable.

This is a good local spot for a boil. The boil plate was big enough for my wife and I. The food was good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The bread pudding was amazing. We will come back. It just has a down-home vibe to it and a comfortable place.

I’ve been here twice. The food is great. I’ve had the seafood quesadilla and the shrimp platter. Both were delicious. The staff is friendly even when they’re busy. A must go to spot, definitely will be going back

These are the reviews I don’t like to leave…
First, the good! Atmosphere is different from other places in this area. Open, clean *very* clean, professional staff and friendly hostess.
Our server was fine with exception of forgetting an item which happens!
First…the drink. My sister and I both got a summer raspberry lemonade, a vodka based drink. There is no way that had any alcohol it. One and done.
Side salads were not fresh lettuce. Wilted on the bottom. Lots of crunchy croutons tho!
Crab cakes… if you like hard fried mostly filler crab cakes with a ridiculous amount of spices that diguise any small amout of actual crab meat that may be accidently thrown in fillers, then YES, order them. Otherwise, save your money and hit up McDs for a fish fillet.
They may have used all the spices on the crab cakes and completely forgot to flavor the catfish. Bland and over friend. We didn’t bother with dessert.
Now, I will say “you get what you pay for,” and the prices, for the most part, reflected the quality.
Again, the friendly staff and cleaniless were a positive.

I had the opportunity to stop here for an early lunch and I’m glad I did . It gets busy but the staff rolls out service very well. If you’re flying solo go to the bar and spark the a conversation with the bar tender. They’ll give you the good on everything you need to know. I had a seafood platter which was delicious. Before I left I had to order a crab cake platter to geaux because why Not! I’ll definitely will be returning. Happy Mardi Gras 2026.

Had the best boiled crawfish here on Sunday! Everything on the menu is delicious! My family and I go to Zydecos at least 3x a month sometimes 4! Bbq shrimp, onion rings, roast beef, tuna steak, redfish, fried shrimp, boiled crawfish, snow crab, Dungeness crab, fried soft shell crab poboy, just to name a few things that we love from here. An absolute must try restaurant!

Went with a group of 5 as soon as we we entered there’s a sign saying auto gratuity of 20% for parties of 5 or more on whatever, there’s also another sign saying there’s another auto gratuity for spending more than $150 on a meal. We ordered and waited a good bit for our food, the catfish po-boy was average at best, the all you can eat shrimp the first tray was ok the second which contained maybe 10 shrimp wasn’t great you could tell the shrimp had been cooked previously and reheated they had a super chewy texture nearly impossible to peel. The server wasn’t very attentive dirty plates were left on the table.
When we received the bill we were charged both gratuities plus additional fees. Never in my life have I been charged extra for spending money at a restaurant.

Delicious food, excellent and friendly service, and simple but friendly surroundings. The food is all the Cajun favorites – Crawfish boil, gumbo, shrimp pasta, fried catfish. The bar pours generous and mixes well. The servers are friendly, informative, and generally genial. It’s everything I looked forward to from new Orleans.
