Parking was luckily easy for us, but I’d definitely recommend allowing a little extra time since Fourth Street can get busy. It’s worth the effort, though!
The food was perfection from the appetizers all the way to the steak — every bite was flavorful and beautifully prepared. Huge shout-out to Chef Noah, who was on staff that night. He was spectacular! You can truly taste the care and talent in every dish. We’ll definitely be trying to come back when he’s working his magic again.
The cocktails were delicious, well-balanced, and thoughtfully crafted, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening.
10 out of 10 — highly recommend! We can’t wait to return.
Before I talk about the soup, we were ushered into a nearly empty dining room at an early dinner hour on a weekday. Even with so few customers, it was a very long time before somebody came to take our drink order. Service was painfully slow all night. I’m fine with leisurely service at an upscale restaurant but this was extreme.
We ordered the raw oysters: 4 very lonely oysters on a huge platter of ice!! Delicious as they were with a raspberry vinaigrette minionette, they looked so sparse presented that way!
The single crab cake looked somewhat unappealing, pressed into a flat hamburger-patty shape, rather than a plumper, hand-formed shape. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo of this.
Both the onion soup and the pizza were good but not spectacular.
The weather was nice for outdoor dining. After perusing the menu, I decided to have the crab sandwich with avocado on toasted sourdough bread and a side of spring mix salad drizzled with a vinaigrette dressing.
Drawbacks: Nice presentation of the Arnold Palmer, but the tea overwhelmed the lemonade. It was okay, but I had better elsewhere. I did not finish the beverage. I wasn’t feeling it. Bread was fine without the butter. Restaurant added salt to the butter. The buttered bread was very salty.
Service was prompt and the waiter was attentive and pleasant.
Restaurant is receiving a 4 star rating for the crab sandwich with a side salad, and customer service.
Future visit? Yes, if I am in the neighborhood for the Margherita pizza.
