Zuppa in Yonkers is a hidden gem! The food is incredibly fresh, the staff is warm and attentive, and the elegant ambiance makes every visit special. Plus, valet parking downtown is a huge plus!

Zuppa is a Yonkers institution, and rightfully so. This was my first time dining here, and it instantly became one of my top Italian restaurants in all of Westchester. The space is stunning, warm, romantic, and elegant, with over 25 years of history behind it. You can feel that legacy the moment you walk in.

I came with a friend and we shared a little bit of everything:
• The burrata with pear carpaccio and honey drizzle was delicate and refreshing.
• The duck sausage with grilled radicchio and orange cardamom glaze was one of the most flavorful bites I’ve had this year.
• The signature pappardelle veal bolognese with mint lived up to the hype, fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced.
• For mains, we tried the Nutella braised short rib, and the Atlantic salmon with artichokes and vino agrumato, both perfectly portioned and cooked beautifully.
• We ended with panna cotta and zeppolini, followed by espresso and an espresso martini.

Every dish was crafted with care and presented beautifully. Service was professional but never stiff, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The portion sizes were ideal: satisfying but not overwhelming. We left with no leftovers and no regrets.

Zuppa nails the balance of classic Italian comfort with modern finesse. Highly recommend for a date night, special occasion, or just treating yourself to an elevated meal in Yonkers.

This is a very nice restaurant. The ambiance and atmosphere is warm, comfortable and elegant, but not pretentious. It was nicely decorated for Christmas as well. The service was very attentive and friendly. The drink menu is extensive and even has a table of contents. I appreciated that they had a nice selection of beers for a reasonable price. Many Italian restaurants have limited beer options. My dish (roasted chicken) was above average but I can’t comment anything else, as that’s the only thing I ate. I would definitely come back here again!

We had eaten at Zuppa twice and were very impressed with the atmosphere, food and attentive and friendly service. When it came time to plan our sister’s 60th birthday dinner, we immediately thought of Zuppa. We stopped in one evening and met with Jozi to discuss our plans. He was very professional and knowledgeable about how to host the event. He carefully reviewed all of the food courses and beverage choices and explained the costs associated with everything. He showed us their downstairs wine room which was beautiful and perfect for our dinner event of 20+ people. We asked if we could come in early and add some decorations to the room and bring speakers and music and they were very cooperative.
The day of the dinner, the staff was helpful with our setup.
Even though the restaurant was fully packed upstairs on a Saturday night, the service quality was impeccable. Our waiter Francisco was very attentive throughout the 4 hour event. The food was beyond wonderful for every course and every dish and everyone was raving about how good it all was.
Considering the amount of food and drink throughout the evening, the price per person was very reasonable. Whether you are planning a quiet dinner out or a party event like us, I HIGHLY recommend you book Zuppa as your restaurant of choice. We plan to go back again many times.

Great Italian food in downtown yonkers.
Zuppa was the first respectable business to take a chance of downtown yonkers.
They are in the historic yonkers gazette building and the restaurant has a cool industrial vibe with exposed brick from the original historic building.
The food is always on point and is very elevated Italian.
They have a beautiful wine cellar room downstairs that is at times open for dining and is available for parties.
The food is not cheap but you get what you pay for.
They have valet which is key because you don’t want to walk around down there at night.

Upscale eatery with a fine-dining flare, but can be family friendly.
The food was good, with some homemade pasta dishes, seafood, and steak options. Service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was a mix of family style and high-end bar, with a touch of romantic ambiance. Try the Panna Cota and the Pappardelle!

I had my daughters shower there two weeks ago, and couldn’t be happier. The food was delicious, the atmosphere perfect, but most of all, the staff are the best around. Eddie is patient, kind and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this place to everyone and looking forward to having more parties there in the future!

What an unexpected pleasure Zuppa was. Made a sojourn up to Yonkers to visit the excellent Philipse Manor House State Park/Museum and my wife had researched places to eat. The food was fresh, delicious and the portions generous compared to NYC. The calamari was the best I’ve had anywhere in a long time (clearly fresh, the batter crisp, excellent sauce). My daughter enjoyed her margherita pizza and my wife her pasta. Our server was terrific and attentive.

Not so amazing. Loud loud music. We were shouting over dinner.
Service was fabulous aside from the hour wait even w a reservation
Food was ok not so terrific. Branzino was tasteless on top of a mountain of roasted potatoes. Not even a lemon wedge.
Lamb chops were good but only 2 very small.
Not worth price
Veal scaloppini was average. Ziti pasta didn’t fit description. Basically penne vodka
Overall average meal
