Just got back from a wonderful evening at Zumuku in Wilmslow. We were a party of 8 and received impeccable service from both Sandra and Zain – nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and our whole party cleared our plates. Will definitely be back!

I’ve always been a fan of the food here and at all of their venues ever since it started in the fish shop in Didsbury. It’s fresh, tasty, and healthy with a great variety of Asian fusion. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get too.
This review is about the great service received by a member of staff over the phone. I’d placed a wrong order via Deliveroo and they changed it without question with a can do attitude in efficient fashion.
I will continue to bring my custom to this amazing restaurant.

Used to love this place, but they have gone downhill. Food was fresh, but the quality was not to the high standards I would expect from them.
Service was not great. They forgot part of the order, didn’t ask about any dietary requirements, brought the wrong order and then argued back and went only to double check that they did in fact make a mistake. Rolls were poorly rolled, with rice being all over the place.
Cocktails menu was creased and looked like it needs to be reprinted, with food stains over it. Was not a good look.
They have introduced liquid nitrogen or some sort of special effect, but I found that it was just not done right with the server touching the food to ‘make the effect’ happen.
Miso soups arrived luke warm.
Disappointing, as I generally love Zumuku brand and some of their other branches are decent.
Highest star for atmosphere, as they have a roof terrace, they just need to maybe add some decor. Also we were advised not to sit at certain tables as the sofas were dirty..

Zain was 100% perfect, not pushy, very friendly, happy face. Food was excellent, hot when it came out and portion sizes were value for the money, more than enough. Will definitely be coming back again.

This is not a typical Japanese restaurant. The interior design is fusion, so are the meals. They gave another amazing experience. The staff were all nice, polite and responsive. We had a joyful lunch hour.

Not recommended. The restaurant is alright but not the food. Not authentic at all. The sushi roll is tesco sushi level and the ramen is like instant noodles. I ordered pork tonkotsu but the broth tastes just like chicken soup from the supermarket. Don’t waste your money on this.

No explanation needed, just look at those poor roll, ginger was dry like someone forgot to shut the lid and you still give it to customers, two tone wasabi which means it was the same reason with ginger. You’re just not good enough to sell food at this point.
