Incredible mood lighting date night atmosphere. We went on a girls trip and were able to make a large party reservation with only a couple hours notice. Some of the girls weren’t great about their orders but mine was delicious. The stuffed jalapeño’s were phenomenal!

I used to go to the Tempe location when I lived over there, and I’m happy they opened another location on the north side of town. They have my favorite sushi happy hour menu and everything is INCREDIBLE! I would say the food at this location is even better than the original one. Huge fan of the crunch salmon roll and shrimp tempura roll. I’ve had their hot food entrees before which have all been really good too.

This is my favorite sushi place. The Las Vegas roll is the best! My husband loves the Banzai roll. Honestly, everything we have ordered has been high quality. I’m usually a little nervous about raw fish but have no reservations here. The servers are so nice and personable. Great vibes. The late night happy hour is really good – keep in mind that there’s no happy hour on holidays. We keep coming back!

My friend and I have been coming here regularly for lunch since June 2024. Absolutely hands down one of our favorite everyday go-to Sushi restaurants. Service and Food have always been consistent. Fish is always fresh.
The menu is extensive, something for everyone. My friend and I are really creatures of habit and order the same items when we dine there, though I’ve had their Spicy Kimchi Hot Pot minus the Spam… it was delicious.

I discovered this amazing place recently and I love the atmosphere, it’s quiet and the staff was friendly! I had a California roll and pork gyoza, everything was fresh and gyoza was hot. LOVE IT, I definitely recommend and will visit again soon!

Got take out. Food was exactly as ordered. Spicy Miso Ramen was unreal. The sushi rolls were delicious. Place looks awesome, going to eat in next time. Staff was super friendly. Highly recommend !!

Loved everything we ordered. You certainly get your bang for your buck here. They give you a great serving/ portion size.
The scallop roll was far and away my favorite but their bento box for lunch is perfect for a well rounded and balanced meal.
Their non sushi items are just as good such as the skewers or appetizers.

Edit: not sure what happened to this place, but customer service is lacking. Nobody acknowledged us when we walked in and we waited for over 10 mins just standing at the front. Won’t be back anytime soon.
Food is really good and customer service is great! All the staff were really nice and friendly. Tried a couple of appetizers, some skewers, and entree with rice – everything was tasty and came out of the kitchen fast. Glad to have more asian/Japanese restaurant option in North Phoenix. We will be back and will try their sushi menu next time.

Gavin, general manager and Klara our waitress were wonderful and awesome! I’ve been here numerous times and I have not been disappointed. The staff are great, service and food are sublime. I love interacting with the staff and getting to know them and their personality. 10 out of 5 stars if I could for everything!

I ordered from Zu Izakaya through DoorDash and overall had a decent experience but the Kkanpungi was underwhelming. The kkanpungi I ordered was somewhat different from the original kkanpungi in Korea. It didn’t capture the flavors I was expecting. The side curry dish was good and enjoyable. I would still return in the future to try other items on the menu.
